The food was average and the staff got rude when we told them the food wasn’t that great. I went for an easy dinner with my father, considering it’s a cafe we thought it will be quick. We ordered their most recommended dishes from the menu. The salad was drenched in an oily dressing and just had a few slivers for nuts. The chicken stake and all accompaniments were over seasoned and very salty. We drank several glasses of water during after our meal; that’s what salt does. My palate is still recovering from the sharpness of the salty meal.
They asked us for review after our meal and we gave them an honest review. The staff members came and surrounded us, for giving our feedback. They called the Chef, who stated interrogatory questioning and was super RUDE in his demeanour, and the way he spoke to us. when we told him he was being rude, he stated to retaliate. We walked out paying our bill. this certainly a very unpleasant experience!!
I don’t expect people to go out of their way all the time. One of things that speak about service, is service with a smile; and here no one smiled from the time we walked in.
The server was courteous, I think that’s a basic expectation when dining in a place that charging a price and compulsory service charge.
So yes the place is average! And I rate the way they treat their customers POOR.
I’m still...

The staff is super efficient with their service and hospitality.
The food and drinks are the highlights of the place. We loved their chicken grilled salad, complete with nuts, fruits and balsmic vinegar.
The shawarma wrap is particularly interesting as they serve you separate ingredients and help you to make the pita rolls yourself. The sole fish served with grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes won my heart with its soft texture and glazy sauce. It was the best fish I have tried.
Besides the food and decor there is also entertainment. You can dabble in a game of scrabble or monopoly with your dining partner while waiting for your order.

Read moreI recently visited Laid Back Cafe Saket and had an enjoyable experience. One of the standout aspects of my visit was the service provided by our server, Ashish. He was very friendly and accommodating throughout our meal, and went out of his way to ensure that we had everything we needed giving his food recommendations .
In terms of the food, I tried a few dishes that I really enjoyed. The mushroom touk was especially delicious - the combination of mushrooms, herbs, and spices was perfectly balanced, and the dish had a nice texture as well. The garlic bread was also a hit - it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of garlic flavor.
For my main course, I opted for the grilled cottage cheese steak, which I found to be very tasty. The cottage cheese was cooked to perfection and had a nice smoky flavor from the grill. The dish was also accompanied by a side salad, which was fresh and flavorful.
Overall, I had a great experience at Laid Back Cafe and would definitely recommend it to others. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch (thanks to Ashish!), and the atmosphere was laid back...
