An extremely pleasant and satisfying experience, owing to the excellent food comprising of a multi-course buffet, the decor, the service as well as the price.
Visited on Rakhi, with five guests from France, who simply adored the restaurant, for the concept as well as the succulent kababs for starters, ranging from gilawati to seekh to fish to paneer... the variety seemed endless!
This was accompanied by Indian beers, priced so reasonably for a bucket (5 beers) that we thought there was an error in the bill.
The main course offered the most delicately cooked pulao, along with a smokey Dal makhni and deep fried gobhi with a hint of ginger. The palak paneer, cooked with a dash of cinnamon, butter and garlic was delicious, to say the least, possibly also owing to an aftertaste of yogurt. Vegetarian food never tasted so good.
The deserts - creamy phirni, with saffron, and gulab jamuns with vanilla ice cream - were a treat unto themselves.
The chef personally visited the table on three occasions to enquire if all was well and also to interact with my guests, offering detailed explanations regarding the dishes.
I'd have given 5 stars, but for the extremely hard dahi bhallas, and the mutton Curry, comprising of more bones than meat.
Worth visiting, all the same.
An unforgettable afternoon with friends from abroad I was meeting...

Read moreTo die for Paneer Tikka! Mostly great food (not ordering daal tadka again) and nice drinks but not perfect. At 1200/person incl drinks and cozy ambiance - decent to try out. Will come again.
Food: 4/5 We got paneer tikka, galouti kabab, kadhai paneer, daal tadka and drinks - Anaarkali, masala shikanji, melon masala and classic Margherita. All food including breads (tandoori roti, naan and mirchi parantha) were delicious, except daal tadka. Daal tadka was sub par as it tasted a bit like boiled daal and didn’t have the right amount of spices to make it delectable. Drinks were all decent too.
Update: ordered daal makhni which was amazing. Also got chatpate aloo that were good too!
Service: 5/5 Very nice and polite servers and fast service.
Ambiance: 5/5 Feels like a traditional dhaba setting. Hygienic and cozy interiors.
Sustainability: 3/5 Everything except paper tissues were single use. They also by default put plastic water bottles on the table which can prompt a customer to open it, if the filtered RO water option...
