Went to Firdose at taj krishna with hope of fine dining, but ended up with disappointments. First we made reservation and went to resturant, it was me along with my wife and 2 kids, Staff is Immatured with no table serving manners. when we entered we were offered table for 8 members which was awkward then upon request they again shifted to table of 4 members. Then we order taj krishna's signeture cocktail which was totally cap. Therefore after we order for fixed menu and ala cart for kids which was disaster. I took around total 2 hours to complete the fix menu course. First we were offered starters chicken tikke which was uncooked and Mutton shikampur which like having paste and some lamb which was unspecified then in veg fixed menu which order by my wife got some paneer tikka and as a mother she shared a bite with Childern and immediately then floor manager came rushingly and told us that she can't share any bite with others, oh god it was so embarrassing, it remind me about my day boarding school where a warden use to keep watch on us when we use to have our lunch in school time. Thereafter soup(paya sorba) was served which was average and then main course which was sad and after that Briyani really made me upset and we left the place.
Th dessert which served to us by the waiter there was I very bad behavior...the waiter don't even care to remove the used napkins on table and straight away landed dessart plate above the used napkins .
Staff GL REDDY needs for perfection Boys under him also need to learn to give respect to the resturent guests.
The suggest restaurant should remove word fine dining from firdose restaurant. There are planty many resturents in city which offers good ambiance, food at fair better price...
Read moreFirdaus is a luxury dining restaurant in one of the city’s most ornate 5 Star hotels, Taj Krishna. We went there as a family to celebrate an occasion. Overall we had a good time eating and enjoying the ambience, but the service was rather disappointing. To put it bluntly, the waiters behaved like ones in that of a Udupi restaurant. They lacked poise and etiquette. This came as a shocker from a restaurant like Firdaus. The food didn’t take too long to arrive. We ordered the much hyped Kabab-e-Firdaus, Haleem with Sheermal 🫓, Nalli Gosht , Dum ka Murgh🥘, Garlic Naan, Paratha and the Dessert Platter. The award for the best haleem in Hyderabad goes to Firdaus, hands down. I could just eat more and more of this gourmet food and finish off with my dinner…well I’m going to do this next time :). Their haleem is mild, yet oozing with and flaunting the finest flavours of this popular local delicacy. A shout-out to their chef for this exquisite dish 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. The rest of the food was also good, but not something I would want to come back for. I do recommend their dessert platter to get a taste of everything. Their desserts were remarkable, and the portion size was decent. Ah…I got so engrossed with writing about their food, that I almost forgot about the live ghazals playing in the background. The choice of ghazals sure made the occasion nostalgic and elevated the mood, but the quality of singers was not great. The tune would go off beat most times, which was much to our dismay. The behaviour of the singers was not very dignified and one could often see them arguing or being sternly instructed by the manager, which was not a good sight with the backdrop of the...
Read moreI have been a regular guest at Firdaus (Taj Krishna) since 2015 and have always appreciated the hospitality and service. However, I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent visit on the occasion of my wife’s birthday and my daughter’s 6-month celebration. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet the standards I have come to expect. The hospitality was lacking, particularly from the lady who served our table. She appeared disinterested and inattentive, and it seemed as though serving us was a burden. We had to wait for nearly an hour for our main course after finishing our starters, and our queries were largely ignored. When we inquired about the availability of desserts such as kulfi or a dessert platter, we received no response. Eventually, feeling frustrated, we requested the cake for our celebration. Additionally, I had requested Jahangir (the master chef) to arrange a flower bouquet to mark the special occasion, but neither the manager nor any staff member provided one. This oversight further dampened our celebration. While the non-vegetarian food was good, my wife unfortunately fell ill after consuming the vegetarian dish (lassoni palak). Given this experience, I am deeply disappointed, especially with the manager and the lady server. This may be my last visit to Firdaus...
