Pind Balluchi, a well-acclaimed restaurant chain from Delhi, is known for its Punjabi culinary delights. However, my recent visit to its Hyderabad branch with my office team of 17 left us sorely disappointed.
Our anticipation was high as we expected the same level of excellence that the Delhi outlets had received. Sadly, the starters, veg and non-veg, missed the mark in taste and quantity. The crispy fried chicken, which we hoped would be broasted, turned out to be chicken pakoda marinade - a far cry from what we were looking forward to.
Even the iconic Punjabi lassi, a hallmark of such eateries, failed to deliver a consistent experience. While some of us relished a thick and flavorful lassi, others were dismayed by watery or oddly-tasting versions.
Our main course experience didn't salvage the situation either. The mutton biryani, usually a delight, was a letdown. The undercooked mutton and lackluster biryani flavour left us unimpressed. To make matters worse, we waited over 40 minutes for the main course after the disappointing starters - a true test of our patience.
Despite these culinary setbacks, the one saving grace was the restaurant's ambiance. Pind Balluchi Hyderabad boasts a stunning setting with well-planned lighting and ample seating space. This was undoubtedly the only highlight of our visit!
Unfortunately, the impressive ambiance couldn't overshadow the disappointment that came with the food and service. Moreover, the hefty bill we received at the end of the meal was hard to digest given our...

Still my wife tolerated all that and then the over ènthusatice server brought finger bowl without her finishing her food
THIS REALLY SPOILED OUR DINNER OUTING FEELS OF THE KILLED THE FINE DINNING VIBE.
Talking about the taste of the food Crispy Chicken did not look like fresh felt like it's frozen. Dhaba meat Curry just got 4 bony mutton pieces with tasteless gravy. Not even worth of 400 rupees all the food we ordered but we were charged 1000 rupees. Please don't visit this restaurant if you would like to eat fresh food. We deeply regretted after...
Read moreSeriously I was thinking why I came to pind balluchi, this is first time for me to visit this place and I was fed up by their services.
They gave all the time surprises,
I ordered lassi, they gave me very liquid curd, as being a Punjabi restaurant no body serve this kind of lassi in North or in Punjab areas.
I ordered red meat and they served murg.. and top of that they were trying to prove its red meat. After arguments their some manager came and he said this is murg... What is the issue. They took it back and we waited for more time again.
While eating their waiters served finger bowl, seems they had to shut down the restaurant or they want to show their quick service in finger bowl instead of actual food services.
I had been pind balluchi in delhi, punjab and UP.. but here it is totally different, you won't get feel like North Indian.
Food wise it just ok, for food I can rate 3/5, but for their...
