Read moreDear Barbeque Nation Team,
I recently dined at your Kondapur, Hyderabad outlet, and while my experience was overall enjoyable, I feel compelled to share some constructive feedback that I believe can be of real value to your continued success and growth in an increasingly competitive market.
Let me start with the positives — 🔹 Service & Staff Courtesy: Your team was exceptional. From the serving staff to the chefs, everyone was warm, responsive, and courteous. Special mention to the chef who was kind enough to customize items as per our preferences. I’d confidently rate the service and staff a solid 4.5/5. 🔹 Beverage Experience: I appreciate the introduction of detox water — a refreshing and welcome addition. It shows a step in the right direction toward evolving with customer needs. Rating: 4/5
However, there are a few areas that I strongly urge you to reconsider for long-term sustainability:
🔄 The Need for Reinvention: The food offerings, though decent, have become predictable and monotonous.
Starters: 3.5/5
Buffet mains: 3/5
Desserts: 2.5/5
Ambience & Cleanliness: 3/5
The issue isn’t with quality — it’s with innovation. The menu feels almost identical to what it was years ago. There's little that excites or surprises returning guests. In an industry where customer retention is driven by novelty, experience, and differentiation, remaining stagnant can be dangerous.
Brands like Nokia, Kodak, and Blackberry serve as stark reminders that even the most loved names can lose relevance if they refuse to adapt.
🔍 My Suggestion: Rotate or theme your buffet more often — maybe introduce monthly regional cuisines, fusion days, or live counters with changing specialities.
Refresh dessert sections with modern Indian and global options.
Innovate in your ambience and presentation — make it Instagrammable and experience-driven.
Stay one step ahead of emerging F&B trends by listening closely to feedback and benchmarking against your dynamic competitors.
Please don’t get me wrong — I’ve always appreciated what Barbeque Nation has stood for: value, variety, and a lively experience. But to continue leading, evolution is no longer optional — it’s essential.
Wishing you continued success — and looking forward to a reinvented Barbeque Nation in my next visit.
Warm regards, Sandeep...
Read moreThis is first time we had faced such a worst experience in our favorite place i.e. you... Bar be que nation. ( Kondapur ). Highly disappointed with the way ,we have been treated by the staff , making us feel as if we are getting a free dinner out here...and you know that is not the case!!
People come out for dinner for an experience and if that is not there then its better to have food at home !!!
First , it was the captain named Akshay(Captain) to whom we had requested for a choice of table ( remind you , the restaurant was only 25 % fill ) and the way that fellow had responded was not at all acceptable. I decided not to escalate and took the suggested table. Then comes the hero of the night ( sarcasm involved ) Anup ( server ), he first came and literally put the cutlery on the table in a way as if it has been thrown at us...( I have a pic ) . I ignored it again and I forgot to mention that the table was not cleaned properly ,have ignored again!!!( I have a pic for this as well ) . After some time, our super star ( Anup)came with 2 plates in his hand , one he put it on our table and other one was in his hand ( with chicken bones which he had picked up from the near by table ) ..he sensed that this time I had lost it ( as I am a pure veg) and immediately he had put that plate on the adjacent table. When I asked him, is this the way you serve to people ??? He replied , " rakh diya na sir ". Such a shameless and casual attitude. I told him to get me his supervisor , Tanmoy ( manager and that fellow gave us such a cold response. He didn't even said sorry once for the incident instead asked anup to take care of other table...
The only respite for us was Ritwick( Captain ). He read the situation well and gave us the best possible service. Person like him should deserve to be the manager and not Tanmoy ( who was roaming around putting his hands in his pockets)
You lost a loyal...
