First of all, let me make it clear that I'm not here to review their sweets. I'm here just to review the staff and their behaviour towards me when I first entered their store with excitement. It was 9:05, almost 25mins before their closing time, I went in to order and right then I was greeted by one of the staff members with a smile. The moment I went ahead to order, another staff member said 'Sir, it's closing time. 2mins we close', to which I replied 'Yes, I'll make it quick, here's my order'. He again tried to remind me that, sir, it's closing time. I said, yes, I'm just ordering, take my order. Then one last final time he said 'Sir it's closing'. Man had the time to waste 2mins reminding me that it was closing time, but didn't have time to quickly take my order. I left the place with a smile saying 'Thank You'.
I'm sorry, but this is purely a rant. I have a sweet tooth and I went there to order sweets, well before their closing time, but they just decided not to serve me.
To whomsoever it may concern, please look into this and kindly ask your staff to at least serve the customers when it's still 25mins to the closing time. I had heard a lot about your store and was really excited to have some sweets at your place. The very first experience was...
Read morePulla Reddy is a good sweet shop but really doesn’t live up to the hype. If fact, it has become so overrated that it will become underrated. We got many varieties of sweets including motichoor ladoos, kaju kathili, khaland barfis, plus sampled some rasamalai and rasagulla. The ladoos were good with a juicy and chewy texture, and the kaju kathilis were thick and delicious with their signature silver on top. The mango and chocolate versions of the burfies were good, but the plain version wasn’t all that flavorful. The “rasa”s was where most of the disappointment came through! The rasamalai, as flavorful as the milk may be, didn’t taste very fresh. The rasagullas were horrible, too sweet, and so hard to chew! They even ran out of their signature carrot halwa!! We even got some peri-peri cashew nuts to go along with the confections, but they weren’t anything special. The prices were also on the higher side, and the shop didn’t have a good ambience, especially considering the fact you need to pass through a boba shop to get in. Check this place out, or consider going to one of the better branches or...
Read moreI am a big fan of Kaju Pakoda and Kaju Pakam (Cashew Sweet). I don’t buy anything else from them. In fact they should be given zero star. But not possible. I stay in Mumbai and buying these two things from their outlet in Begumpet road for last many years. But for last two years, THEY ARE JUST CHEATING. There is no cashew at all in Kaju Pakoda. It’s just lumps of besan dough. There is no sweetness in kaju sweet at all. May be with changing generations, the current owners don’t bother abt quality at all and interested in easy money. This is not biased review. I am really pained at their deteriorating quality. In fact I tried these two things at two different renowned stores n felt disappointed there too. My sincere suggestion, if you are a fan of these two items, pl don’t buy from Pullareddy. Rather switch your choices to some other things at different stores. Hope some one will see my review and make some improvements. Very bad quality. In fact they must be sued for not having cashew in the so called Kaju Pakoda. You can see a black cashew as jewel in the box...
