Hotel saharsh grand — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Pretty standard when it comes to things you expect from a Udupi restaurant. Clean, fast moving place with various options in the menu, packed during and around meal times and fast no hassle self service. All these adjectives can be used to describe the tea stall right outside the place.

The menu is full of options to choose from: South Indian, North Indian, Chinese, Beverages. No prices for guessing what the most popular section from the above ones is. It's name says 'Go here to eat the go to South Indian fare' out loud. As if the place wasn't attracting enough customers daily, the fact that this is located right where the daily commute autos, local buses and Inter City/State buses stop to pick up passengers makes it an even more popular place.

You can't occupy the table for too long after you are done with the food as the people keep coming in and you should be cool with sharing a table with other customers you might not know. It's that kind of a place.

I just love the Tomato Chutney and Garlic Chutney they serve with their Idli. I make it a point to order extras, even if it doesn't go with thr dish I'm relishing. 😂 Go with the usual suspects: Idli, Vada, Upma, Dosa, Poori, Pongal, Bhajji(can't have a better start to the day). Digest all of this down with a cup of hot tea or refreshing filter coffee from the stall right outside.

I recommend this place if you don't want to second guess the food you should order and you want everything to...

And now, my food Journey begins in Hyderabad(with my present job). Couldn't gave them a 5 because of their prices, weird list of complimentary food and no serving on tables(self service at this price in their menu).

Stood at their hotel for more than 6days, with which we get complimentary breakfast of Idli/masala or plain dosa/upma. We need to come to this restaurant on the 0th floor to eat the breakfast.

Took, Masala Dosa ,Plain dosa and Upma on 3 different mornings.

Masala Dosa(9/10): More than heavy breakfast. Tastes delicious and crunchy on the outside, while soft and tender potato on the inside. 2/3 types of dips are given, sambhar, an orange one and the white one, we get everywhere.

Plain Dosa is the same, except the filling and the way it's served.

Upma(8/10): Served quite fast. It's a brilliant breakfast and not too filling. 2 dips,...

NEVER EVER BOOK THIS HOTEL. We booked this hotel for a day just because of its location. But ended up having THE WORST stay experience. The staff there is very arrogant and so is the owner. Full of EGO. INHUMAN behaviour. We just requested that a visitor would come to the room for a couple minutes. And for that these idiots didn’t allow, saying we should either pay extra charge for a third person or just talk in the reception itself. When I said we’re girls, and need to just use the restroom in our room even then they started arguing that THE THIRD PERSON USES UP EXTRA WATER AND ITS NOT OK FOR THEM. WHAT AN INHUMAN THING TO SAY. NO RESPECT FOR WOMEN AT LEAST. When we said no other hotel has such stupid policy, even the owner just started...
