I recently visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience.
This is a multi-restaurant dine-in joint. There are around 5-6 different restaurants with common seating areas, overall divided into 3 different spaces - Closed, semi-open, and open area.
We hopped on to the open area because of okay weather, which was also made possible by automated water sprays at regular intervals.
Quickly ordered a masala dosa from Indari as we were damn hungry, as a dosa generally takes 5-10 minutes, right? Almost after 25-30 minutes and regular checks with the servers, I decided to check myself.
To my surprise, they didn't even start to prepare because they decided to serve one big delivery order before taking care of the dine-in people. Even if they had slid in the dosa in between that large order, it would have made some sense.
I immediately canceled it and both the servers and the management expressed their apology and questioned the particular outlet.
Thankfully, we had placed another order of vegetarian Manchurian along with bread from 10D express, which itself took its sweet time to arrive. The relaxing moment was finally the bite of it, as the gravy was delicious to its core, and it calmed our situation and we forgot all of what happened.
Another pain point I think is the cost of the bread. You can easily raise a bill of 500 for 2 people if you order 5 pieces of bread, which takes a major chunk of the bill. This is a trend at fine-dine restaurants, but must not be everywhere.
Overall good food experience with terrible service, hoping to visit again for a quick lunch or dinner and for better service.
Ideally, the price per person can range from 200-600+ per person depending upon what you order. If you order conservatively, it will fall between 200-400 per person, and if more, than it can easily go from...

Read moreTerrible. Extremely Understaffed. Poor Event Management.
We planned for a dinner evening with family on Sunday
The restaurant had offered a chunk of its space for an event - BNI PLATINUM SOCIAL. The extremely unruly behaviour of the guests of this party and the inability of the management of the restaurant to curtail the nuisance that other guests visiting were experiencing was truly appalling and shameful for us to see and distressing for the kids present with us to witness. Alcohol spilled in the pathway. Smoking in front of children. Riling up infants by continuing to burst baloons was extremely distasteful gesture that the guests resorted to. The staff managing the party wasn't heading to our complaints and the same continued. This certainly doesn't reflect well on BNI nor on the restaurant. Bulk of staff wasn't assigned for the restaurant and everyone was focused on the party while many of the other staff members were unable to serve the tables properly they regularly were asking for orders even when food earlier ordered wasn't served Loud Music was an issue that even other customers were complaining about but that also fell to the deaf ears of the management. We always enjoy coming to this restaurant but this visit has created a lasting and...
