This was our FAVOURITE restaurant in Jodhpur! It’s not the most fancy or luxurious place, but it is great value for money and the food is absolutely delicious! My brother has been to Korea and says the food is as good as there. If you are looking for a non-Indian alternative this is a wonderful option. We really enjoyed the potato pancake and stir fry noodles with rice.
The chef and head, Mohan, is a lovely man originally from Nepal. He taught himself how to cook Korean food and is SO passionate about his cuisine. He was really keen on asking for tips and feedback. He uses lots of special ingredients that can’t be found locally in Jhodpur (fish sauce, kimchi, etc). I was so impressed by his story and the way he has dedicated himself to Korean food.

Read moreWe were really surprised to find Korean restaurant in Jodhpur. Never having tried Korean, I called this place and luckily the chef was available. The place is on the rooftop of a hotel and its super tiny with 3 tables but the food is absolutely delicious.
We ordered a Bokkeumbap, Gamja Jeon and a Watermelon Hwa-chae. The first dish was a yummy fried rice with an egg on top. The second was a potato pancake and the third was watermelon slices with Sprite which was quite unique. All 3 dishes were absolutely fantastic and it was very filling for 2 people. Hats off to the chef Kim Mohan who has mastered the art of preparing Korean food.

We were hungry by the time we were done exploring the fort so decided to try Kim Mohan’s Restaurant- just 6 minutes walk from the fort. We were a little lost trying to get to the Restaurant, but local street kids helped to point us to the right direction. Narrow steps took us to the rooftop balcony with a lovely view of Jodhpur. We had Kingfisher beer, Shinramyun and Yangnyeom chicken served with some Kimchi on the side, and we were not disappointed. The owner was friendly and very hospitable. He tells us he sources his Korean ingredients from Delhi and learnt to cook from Youtube! We enjoyed our lunch here, and would recommend anyone looking for a change in cuisine. We...
