CP STORIES CAFE — Restaurant in Kerala

A relatively lesser known cafe that serves pretty great food at reasonable rates. Very good ambience that heavily draws from movies. Outdoor seating has a large screen that plays sports matches. The inside is adorned with funky mashup posters of popular Malayalam movies. Even the bill is brought in a miniature movie reel distribution box.

We had spaghetti marinara and the CP club sandwiches both were really good, but was really impressed with the sphagetti marinara. The passion fruit 'cool producer' drink was really fresh and the iced tea didn't taste like they made it with cheap powder like some other cafes.

I think the only reason this cafe is not known that much is because it's located at the back of the parking lot of the Gold Souk which is a deserted place. Apart from that, this was a really cool place to chill. A cafe that is totally...

The place was a bit difficult to find because it’s tucked in away from the main street behind the Gold Souk mall. Once you reach the place feels like an oasis surrounded by green space. There’s a patio and a big projector screen that sometimes displays sporting events. The interior of the place feels homely with the dark green upholstery and the wooden interior. We ordered a few dishes from the menu, the fajita, the salad and the steak. Although not all dishes arrived at the same time, the best was served last with a bit of a delay. Nevertheless it was definitely with the wait. The steak was very tender (one of the best I had in Kochi) the mash potatoes were creamy and the gravy was delectable. I had to hold back not eat the gravy by itself.

Went there for a quick bite on a Sunday night with family. Ideal place if you want to hangout and have a laid back evening over a cup of coffee.

What I liked:

Atmosphere: very calm with light music playing in the background. Though adjacent to the Highway you don't feel/hear the hustle bustle of the city traffic.

Staff: super helpful staff. They were kind enough to accomodate and help us out with few personalised requests

Interior: inspired from movies and had an overall pleasing vibe

Food: had their steak and pink pasta which were good
