Grillz Cafe — Restaurant in Kerala

Had been to Grillz Cafe with my family for dinner. To begin with I had expected a better ambience for a fancy name like Grillz Cafe, apparently it was quite ordinary for an overpriced place like that. We had ordered Tex Mex chicken wings, Hariyali Chicken Kabab, Achari chicken Kabab, Chicken Tikka Masala a few Kulcha's, Alfredo Pasta and ofcourse a bottle of mineral water. The Tex Mex chicken which is supposed to be a Mexican dish was basically honey and soya sauce on boiled chicken. Mexican food has a reputation for being very spicy. Well that's not it the Kabab and the pasta was very salty. Barely edible. Coming to the Kulcha and the Chicken Tikka Masala, we felt so puffed up because a whole lot of soda powder was added. We were unable to finish even half a Kulcha. The only thing we consumed is 1 bottle of mineral water. Not to forget the service was very bad. The waiter brought the dishes without a spoon. It was totally a quick decision to choose Grillz Cafe. We once had taken lunch from the restaurant and love the ambience of the restaurant. The silence, the lovely arrangement of tables, staff, everything was beautiful that we decided to host our friend's birthday party there. So we met the manager and talked about the party that we are planning to do. Without a second thought, he totally agreed to us and granted us permission. We were so excited. Have to say about the staff, very friendly, so polite towards customers, the smile that they provide us with their whole heart. Sorry to mention about the food, we are happy with the food provided. The menu is elaborate, variety of dishes to have, and the quantity of the food they serve is worth for what we are spending. Great ambience, good food but nothing exceptional. Staff is prompt and the order takes about 20-30 mins. Presentation is top notch and the soups were good.
