I had visited the place 2 days back. And would request that if you guys wish to not spoil your mood and your taste buds then kindly do not go to this place. Series on instances that made me express this. We entered the restaurant by 10:20 pm and the restaurant had only 1 table. We went their with an understanding that they are known for their biryani. We ordered the same because usually normal persons go to restaurant for having food what they are known for and the reply was all the biryani are over. Thought definitely it would be the best seller and consoled myself and ordered for their special curry. As we were 2 people we asked will this suffice us both they said that it would be the portion size is too small. It’s simply no value for money. Also asked for jeera rice which is a very simple preparation to which the floor supervisor or manager firstly said it cannot be done considering it’s closing time then he said as it’s out of the menu. A chef was just inside to which we asked and he was happy to serve the same. Also considering the chicken preparation will not suffice us both ordered another chicken dish. The overall time for the food to come on table took almost 35 mins with an empty restaurant. The second chicken dish took another 20 mins. And on top of that no water was served till then. Taste is something which is not even near to what is called as a lip smacking food. I’m worried if the same food they are providing at international levels then it’s a wrong impression that we are leaving on them considering the restaurant has international outlets as well.
Would like to simple conclude that someone should actually monitor that what exactly is happening and get a solution. I’m just saying it in harsh words is because the whole experience...
Read moreI ordered a "KOMBOZ by Thalappakitti" Chicken Biriyani Combo meal from Swiggy. Let me start by saying I ordered from you again because my previous experiences were perfectly fine, and I had a specific craving for the Tamil Nadu-style biryani you claim to do so well. I suppose all good things must come to an end. To my astonishment, the meal that arrived was a masterclass in minimalism. The container was already small, yet you somehow managed to not even fill it. To call the portion "half-full" would be an act of profound charity. The protein portion was particularly inspired: a single, lonely piece of chicken that was almost entirely bone. It also had a distinct, unpleasant taste that suggested it had seen better days. I must have misread the menu, I thought I was ordering a chicken biryani, not your specialty "Discarded Chicken-Parts Biryani." My mistake. The rice was, to be fair, edible, but I'm not sure how it was supposed to redeem the scant thimbleful I received. You know, I’ve always rolled my eyes at the stereotype about Tamil restaurants and their stingy portions for exorbitant prices. I genuinely thought it was an unfair generalization. Thank you for proving me so thoroughly wrong today. For the sake of comparison, I ordered a biryani from a Kerala place last week, and...get this, they used the exact same container and somehow managed to pack it to the brim with rice and chicken. A true miracle of physics, apparently. A word of professional advice: if the fundamental concept of providing a complete meal is proving to be a challenge, perhaps it's time to explore a different line...
Read moreOur recent lunch experience at Dindukal Thalappakarti Biryani in Panampallinager left us with mixed feelings. While the food itself was decent, there was an unsettling aspect regarding the restaurant's policy on collecting personal data. The food served at the restaurant was satisfactory, meeting our expectations in terms of taste and quality. However, our dining experience took a disappointing turn when we were asked to provide our mobile number while placing our order. Curious about the necessity of this request, I inquired with the waiter, only to be informed that it was for their records and assured that it wouldn't be used for marketing purposes. Unfortunately, our trust was betrayed the very next day when I received a marketing call from the restaurant. This incident raised concerns about the restaurant's integrity in handling customers' personal information. It's alarming to think that our personal data, collected ostensibly for internal records, could be misused for marketing or other purposes without our consent. As patrons, we expect our privacy to be respected, especially when it comes to personal data. The practice of collecting such information without explicit consent raises red flags and undermines trust between the restaurant and its customers. In conclusion, while the food at Dindukal Thalappakarti Biryani may be enjoyable, potential customers should be wary of the restaurant's data collection practices. It's essential for businesses to prioritize customer privacy and transparency to maintain trust...
