Gusto Grill Kochi — Restaurant in Kerala

Had a dish, known as Shawai, Google says it's just another synonym of Grilled Chicken. And also, a shawarma, actually, 3 shawarma.

Ordered these to house by telephone. My close friend and I, we try different dishes, weekly, so this was our choice, because we saw it being promoted on a Food Vlog on Instagram.

Man, this was the worst ever chicken I have tasted in my life, I feel to throw up by thinking about the experience I had, shawarma was also worse.

Gusto Grill, Coco Cabana Cafe are all one of the worst joints in Kochi.

I'm disappointed by these Insta pages giving a paid promotion for these inedible, The Chicken tasted exactly like, over roasted peanuts, I'm sure you have had tasted it.

I gave my feedback and Gusto Grill responded by asking me to remove the review, which I had posted earlier, and they even sent me Shawai again, and it was no different.

Their excuse was the Senior Chef was out of town. I'm sure these 4.6 stars most are reviewed by themselves and their fam.

If you're anywhere near Edapally and craving a flavorful alfaham, this spot is absolutely worth checking out. It’s hands down one of the best alfaham joints in the area. I tried their peri peri alfaham, and I have to say—it hit the mark perfectly! It wasn’t overwhelmingly spicy, but had just the right balance of heat and flavor that keeps you going back for more.

Another thing I really liked was their ginger lime juice—refreshing, tangy, and just what you need to pair with grilled dishes like these. The food feels fresh and well-prepared, and the taste really speaks for itself.

The seating space is quite limited, so it’s more of a takeaway kind of place. That said, it’s clean and well-maintained. They seem to have their operations running pretty smoothly despite the rush.

Parking is hassle-free with ample space, which is a big plus considering how crowded Edapally can get. The staff were polite and efficient, and the service overall was quick and smooth.
