This is a very famous spot among foodies in the city for a super delicious food for a pocket friendly pricing. It is one of our normal choices if we are travelling to Palarivattom. Usually we always visit here for breakfast. For breakfast they serve Puttu, Appam, Idiyappam, Porotta and Maniputtu. And Chicken, Egg, Kadala, Peas as curry options. And apart from these items there will some snacks items such as ullivada, tyre pathiri etc. We have tried almost all items which is served here as breakfast. All the items are so delicious and their prices makes it even more attractive. All the bread items as per the above list prepared and brought to the shop whereas all the currys and prepared at the shops and served hot. Egg curry and Chicken curry are the choices which I liked most in Currys. If there is an award for egg curry this will be the winner of that award. It is that good an egg curry, duck eggs are used in this curry and it is a milk based curry which is thick enough and it spicy as there is chilly flakes apart from green chillies. This egg curry have an expectional flavour among the egg curries we normally have from other restaurants. It comes with an egg and enough gravy which can serve two. Moving on to Chicken curry, on first glance we will think that the curry is watery, but once it is served on your plates you will realise how thick the gravy is. It is very delicious, spicy and the gravy makes it heavenly. In chicken curry there will be 4 to 5 small pieces and enough amount of gravy which can serve 2 it u take away. Both these curry are so delicious for all the above bread items, but my favourite among the breads are manipputtu and porotta. It u want a good non veg breakfast for pocket friendly prices this is the heaven for you. Parking will be problem here are this is situated on side of a narrow but busy road. So these best option will be two wheeler or park your cars at a safe and walkable...

This spot is especially famous for breakfast, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best in town. They offer a wide variety of Kerala-style dishes like puttu, pattiri, porotta, idiyappam, appam, vada, along with sides like chicken curry, beef curry, beef roast, beef stew, fish curry, egg curry, and more. Even the vegetarian options are excellent — everything is flavorful and unique in its own way.
The only downside is the limited dining space. It’s almost always crowded, and you may need to wait a bit for a seat. They do offer a standing-eating option on one side, which is helpful during peak hours. It's a self-service setup, and due to the rush, it’s not a place where you can linger — people are often waiting right behind you for their turn.
Also, there's no dedicated parking space, so I had to park on a nearby back road.
Despite the crowd and lack of parking, the amazing food makes it all worth it. Highly recommended, especially...

Visited Matha Hotel on a Saturday Morning. One of the best experiences in Non-veg breakfast restaurants.
Ambience: 3/5 The restaurant is so crowded because of its value for money food . But the ambience provided is not matching with its output.
Food: 5/5 We tried their Appam-Mutta curry combo, Putt - Beef Stew Combo , Noolappam - Chicken Stew Combo . All the them were delicious and congenial to my taste buds.
Service: 3/5 The staff were good, providing attentive and friendly service. But the crowd is uncontrollable in this restaurant while ordering the food . The orders are speedy, but the dining is not enough for that speedy delivery.
Pricing: 5/5 One of the positives was the reasonable pricing of their dishes. The prices were not on the higher side, making it a good value-for-money option.
Parking: 2/5 The lack of parking space was a significant inconvenience.
Recommendation: For those planning to visit in the weekend evening, takeaway might be the...
