Anandas Vegetarian — Restaurant in Kerala

This is our fifth or sixth time at Anandas, and I liked it from the very first time. Despite being located at a very busy street, it has a bit of serenity inside? Okay, let's say it's peaceful inside. Surprisingly clean and calm, with their own set of nice crew, and it's nice menu, it just does the job, that is, it serves tasty food. Menu is simple. Dosa is available almost anytime. I have tried Masala dosa, Ghee Masala dosa, Ghee roast, Veg meals, Chilly paneer, Vada, Curd Vada, Tea and Fresh lime juice from here. And I thought they all tasted just fine. Crew is nice and polite enough. Food is affordable. They accept cards and cash, and food cards too. I would visit...

Had a ghee roast just now. It was more dry than a plain roast to be honest. I asked the waitress if she's sure it's a ghee roast and she said yes too. I would rate 1/10 for this ghee roast. Vada was very very average tasting. Sambhar is liquified dal and coffee was priced at 17 rupees and it was instant coffee in a paper cup. Not even filter coffee. Overall horrible food experience. It's not authentic. They are just maintaining with whatever limited resources they have. Gokul oottupura or brindhavan are far better options for...

The hotel is situated in the right place near to the bus stop, so we can easily get to the bus in a walkable distance after finishing your food. The hotel looks good, clean and tidy. The waiters in there were not that much responding except the one talkative guy. The food is served in a silver plate which had some rust on the corners so I'm sure it's not good in hygiene, the food I ordered is not that much worth for the price. If you are in hurry burry for the bus or some other you can prefer this hotel otherwise not...
