Quite a unique cafe that I stumbled upon while roaming around Fort Kochi. They focus on healthy cuisine and serve many millet-based dishes. The owner is quite a friendly man and will give you a brief overview of the concept of the store even if you're just visiting. I'm not really a hardcore eco-conscious person, nor did I plan to shop for gifts in Kochi, so I didn't buy anything from the store. There are many things worth purchasing, though. For example, they have these pencils made of recyclable material that contain seeds, so you can grow a plant after using them. They also conduct some yoga courses if I'm not mistaken. Regarding the food, everything is freshly made for maximum taste. You can expect to wait 10 to 30 minutes depending on what you order. I dropped in for breakfast and ordered: 1) Millet pooris (3) - Rs. 100 2) Chana curry - Rs. 80 3) Ganoderma tea - Rs. 20 4) Date Roll - Rs. 50 Ganoderma was something I was curious about since I hadn't really seen it on any menu before. The owner took some time to explain that it's a type of mushroom that boosts one's immunity. Some dishes and some drinks contain Ganoderma, too. Overall, I really liked the meal because it was prepared well and did make me feel healthier for a few hours. Tsk. They don't add taxes or a service charge to the bill. Worth checking out for some homely, healthy food.

The food here is prepared in a very homely fashion and honestly the millet based cutlets, fried bananas and millet mushroom rice was probably the tastiest dishes i have ever had while in Kerala! Also dont forgot to try their guava juice or for that matter any juice with lemon tea as even that is freshly made and served! You might also want to take home their shroom coffee and lemon tea saches!

I had a lovely meal here, having just arrived was not that hungry but had no problem finishing this delicious paneer and veggies. The paneer was very fresh and the dish was spiced perfectly for me. Also loved the mint and lemon juice! Everyone very friendly too!

The restaurant ist very special, combining the open kitchen with a shop, an art gallery and the restaurant. The owner is very dedicated and friendly. The staff is kind and humble. The food is nourising and feels like slow food for the soul. Will def. recommend it! Super for those, who want to make the world a better place and care about the environment. I enjoyed a fresh ABC juice and the Millet Noodles with the Salad. Yummy!!! A good alternative to all the typical Indian food such as...
