The Roti - North Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Kerala

Mentioned as "traditional" north indian food, but it was tasteless. We had ordered Lassi and it was served at room temperature (supposed to be served cold). The curriers in North Indian thali were not anywhere near the authentic taste.. more like South Indian mix of curriers. Fresh lime soda was also not cold and they gave ice to make it cold. Perhaps foreigners get attracted here, who don't know how the taste should be. It took them 10-15 minutes to bring two spoons as well. Ambience is also not great.. WE ARE NOT COMING...

Great ambience, happy to know that Dal Roti has reopened. The Kati Rolls taste even better. Love the chicken Bartha and the yummy Lachedar Paratha cant wait to retry out the rest of the dishes.

The old Dal Roti is now under new management. It is now called "The Roti". Was lovely to see the old staff and the same old menu of delightful dishes.

And a definite improvement is the guest...

Its exclusively an North Indian Restaurant situated close to the beach. The menu has many rolls and paratha items . They serve combination of Thali meals in the afternoons. The ambience is very calm and it has some antique collections. Tried their kati roll and Mutton Mughlai paratha. The paratha was evenly matched in quality and quantity. I would recommend to try this one......
