Had the pleasure of dining at Paal Konju last night, a charming outdoor seafood restaurant tucked away in the heart of Fort Kochi. If you're a seafood lover, this place is a hidden gem you shouldn’t miss.

I tried the Red Snapper cooked in banana leaf – and it was absolutely divine. Perfectly spiced, cooked to perfection, and full of coastal Kerala flavour. For the quality and taste, it was great value for money.

What stood out just as much as the food was the warm hospitality. The owners and staff were genuinely friendly, and the chef even promised to cook a different Kerala speciality for me tonight! That personal touch made the experience all the more special.

The ambience is relaxed and breezy – ideal for a laid-back evening with friends, family, or even solo. Their refreshing drinks are worth trying too and complement the meal beautifully.

Went here for dinner, instantly felt like home, the friendly vibe which the care taker, his brother, and their friend provided was crazy.

They literally helped me setup a customised vibe the way I want, suggested the best food to match that vibe, gave a best spot for privacy and made us feel comfortable as well.

The owner literally went a step ahead and provided his bike as well as I wanted to run a short errand nearby, when I asked whether to keep my phone and go, he literally said he trusts me and to go ahead and come back safely.
