Uruli Restaurant — Restaurant in Kerala

I have personally gone to this restaurant multiple times and I have never been let down.

First of all, it has ample parking space. You will never be in a situation where you cannot park your car as the security chettan will always help you find space somehow.

Next, the service is always welcoming. The staff always ensure that you get a table. There's air conditioning and the place including the toilets are always near and clean.

Now coming to the food. I'm yet to see another place that serves chemmen curry along with the usual sambhar, meen chaar and pullussery. And on alternate days, they have Chicken Kumblangha curry which is equally good.

The spice levels are very tolerable so you need not worry while bringing in older folks as they'll also enjoy the meal.

Having an open kitchen means you can comfortably eat the food knowing that it's cooked in a hygienic manner with all hair covers worn by all th kitchen staff involved.

Overall, it's wonderful experience without hurting your wallet. I encourage each and every one of you...

This place apparently gets super crowded around lunch time. By the time we got there (around 2p), they were out of meals. My sister was definitely not happy about that. But I'm glad we stick around and ordered more things.

We got Kizhi Porotta, Pothi Choru, Chicken Ularthiyathu, and vegetable fried rice. All the dishes were tasty. The service was also friendly. They could be faster with water refills.

My big gripe is about the amount of bones, in the chicken (both in the dish, and the chicken inside the Kizhi Porotta). And another gripe is about how sharp the sides of the tables are. They need to smooth the sides and corners over, so that it doesn't hurt us while we are eating.

Now I order with Zomato at 9 0& AM , but the order is hand over to delivery boy at 10 AM. About one hour delay for the order. I call the restaurant and asked about order. They told me that they have to serve their own customers. And they disconnected the call. Is this the service of a restaurant ??? I will never recommend this restaurant for anyone. Never make online order with Uruli. Its an under rated...
