Love the old-world feel of the place. The cafe is small with only a few tables, but the ambiance makes all the difference. They do provide accommodation as well, but that might be a separate business. I'm not sure. I went there for dinner one evening and there was no one else. There's a variety of seafood options on the menu, but mostly Keralan Cuisine. I ordered:
The bisque tasted delicious and had just the right amount of seafood. Although, the curry was tasty, it wasn't mango-y enough for me. I've tasted Coorgi green mango curry which has a more pronounced flavor. Still, the curry went well with the appam and there were chunky pieces of fish in it. Read moreDisappointed. I checked on Google and found an option for Swiggy Dineout reservation. Booked a table for 4, but upon arrival, I was told that there are no reservations taken. Very rudely. (I’m talking about something that was called fish coconut curry) Heavily overpriced- The menu is unsatisfactory. I wouldn’t go back here. The ambience is...
Read moreWe visited this place for dinner on 3rd May 2025 and had a great experience. The ambiance was lovely with green all around, with wooden tables that had an old-world, antique charm.
We ordered veg stew, veg kadai, chapati, curd, parotta, and mixed fruit juice. Everything was delicious and flavorful. The curd was fresh and not stale, and the veg stew was loaded with vegetables. Although the veg kadai was a bit on the drier side, the taste was excellent. The mixed fruit juice was thick, fresh, and really satisfying.
The prices were reasonable for the quantity served, and we appreciated the open kitchen setup, which gave us confidence in the hygiene standards. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even better.
Overall, this is a must-visit place, and they also offer rooms for stay if you're looking for...
