I just loved this place. After a tiring day this place is like a fresh bit of air. Whole day we were walking from one place to another in the hot and humid Kochi weather. We were looking for a nice place to grab a bite. We just stumbled upon Sutra and its a revelation. The place serves both Indian and Mexican food. We ordered the Indian tiffin thali option. I took prawn thali and my husband opted for the chicken thali. The food was amazing. Homely cooking with the touch of the local spices and flavours. The hostess was very accommodating and friendly. We saw some people ordered sizzlers around us. Looked very yummy. Will definitely go back to try that sometimes. Very comfortable outdoor seating. Nice restrooms as well. Overall a perfect value for money. My recommendation goes to Sutra.

Love the old-world feel of the place. The cafe is small with only a few tables, but the ambiance makes all the difference. They do provide accommodation as well, but that might be a separate business. I'm not sure. I went there for dinner one evening and there was no one else. There's a variety of seafood options on the menu, but mostly Keralan Cuisine. I ordered: 1) Seafood Bisque - Rs. 260 2) Fish Mango Curry - Rs. 380 3) Appams (3) - Rs. 90 The bisque tasted delicious and had just the right amount of seafood. Although, the curry was tasty, it wasn't mango-y enough for me. I've tasted Coorgi green mango curry which has a more pronounced flavor. Still, the curry went well with the appam and there were chunky pieces of fish in it. I've already forgotten which fish it was. I'm sure there are other dishes on the menu worth trying, so definitely recommended. *They don't add taxes or a service charge to the bill.

A soul-filling meal after ages. Everything we ordered was brilliant. The grape juice had no water, no sugar and was 100% fruit. The Ginger Tulsi tea pot had pieces of ginger and served with a strainer (how thoughtful ?!) Appam with chicken coconut curry and beef roast was just too good. Both the dishes alone was mouth-watering. The flavours combined was out of the world.. To top it off, we ordered thier moist chocolate cake with ice cream which was the perfect end to a wonderful meal 😍 They give thick chocolate sauce in a cute little Diya. The service was excellent. Akhilan was polite and sweet and was ready with whatever we needed before we even asked 👌

First and first, the food is super amazing and made right infront of your very eyes. Since they only use butter you don't have to be constantly afraid of which oil they use. Especially, all dishes made with meat are boneless unless it's a seafood. If you plan to hangout with 10-15 people, calling them beforehand is advisory to keep the tables reserved. The old Portuguese settlement vibe is glorious in the day than night. This has a hotel, restaurant and a farily big meeting hall for 35 people. All international travellers can feel safe because everyone here has good English vocabulary. Can't wait to meet you again. Love Kochi. Love Kerala. Love You.

In one of the quaint lanes, you will find Hotel Rossitta Wood Castle that houses Warehouse Café. It is an open air café located in the courtyard of Rossita Wood Castle. It is surrounded by lots of plants and greenery, keeping it cool inside in-spite of scorching heat outside. Warehouse café is known for its seafood and non vegetarian varieties. However, us being vegetarians we opted for a Thali. The food was cooked right in front of our eyes in their open kitchen. Our Thali had Beans Thoran, Cabbage and Carrot Thoran ( stir fried preparation with coconut) Pineapple pachadi and Raw Banana Bhaji along with Sambar,Rice and appalam.

The place is great for a good gathering with friends, spacious enough for big group.. and the food there is just mouth watering 🤤. The have a lot of items in the menu and it is quite alot to read and choose... You'll be like, gotta try em all 😂 On our visit, we ordered nachos, quasadillas, tacos, chicken sizzler and of course drinks too... We even got a complimentary drink along as well 😋 posting some of the pics I cud click before we ate everything 😂 The place is great for groups, couples or you could even dine alone and enjoy.. Do try the place...
