Dear Chili's Management Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience my friend and I had at Chili's South City Mall on 6th November 2023, around 630pm. Unfortunately, the incident involving the manager, Mr. Sujoy Ghosh, has compelled me to bring this matter to your attention.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were lured in by the enticing 99rs offer, only to discover after being seated that the beer variety within this offer was unavailable. This miscommunication, which should have been clarified at the reception desk, set the tone for a disappointing visit.

Subsequently, we approached Mr. Ghosh, requesting an adjustment of 200rs to our bill due to the inconvenience caused by the unavailability of the specified beer variety. Despite our reasonable request, Mr. Ghosh declined to make any adjustment and instead offered a complimentary food item. However, the situation escalated further when the promised complimentary dish was changed to sautéed veggies, and later a dish with chicken, not meeting the promised value.

To make matters worse, upon receiving the bill, the complimentary item was added, leading to further dissatisfaction. Mr. Ghosh's reluctance to rectify the situation, coupled with contradictory promises and arguments, left us dismayed.

As regular patrons of Chili's, frequenting the South City Mall branch at least once or twice a month, it is disheartening to encounter such an unsatisfactory experience, especially over a modest adjustment of 200rs. We believe that a manager should possess effective customer management skills to ensure the satisfaction of longstanding clients.

I urge you to address this matter promptly and consider it as constructive feedback for the improvement of customer service standards at Chili's South City Mall.

On Durga Puja Dashami, we visited the Chili's outlet at South City Mall, a restaurant chain we have consistently favored, though we had yet to experience this particular location. Given this opportunity, we sought to explore its offerings and assess the quality.

Boneless chicken wings- We began with the Boneless Chicken Wings, opting for two variants: Texas Spicy Chili and Honey-Chipotle sauces. While the Texas Spicy Chili option delivered on its heat, it leaned excessively towards a sour flavor profile, and the sauce could have benefitted from further cooking to achieve better depth. The Honey-Chipotle, on the other hand, provided a balanced taste, leaving us generally satisfied with this selection.

Parmesan crusted chicken steak - Next, we tried the Parmesan Crusted Chicken Wings, which featured a fillet of fried chicken, delicately stuffed with parmesan cheese and served atop vegetables and potato wedges. This dish demonstrated a high level of creativity and culinary craftsmanship, and we thoroughly enjoyed its execution.

Blue Pacifico - To accompany the meal, we chose Blue Pacifico, a refreshing blend of pineapple and virgin Curacao. The drink was soothing and complemented the meal well.

Molten chocolate cake - We concluded with the Molten Chocolate Cake, an exceptional dessert. The portion size was generous, and the layers were well-composed: a sizzling brownie at the base, topped with vanilla ice cream, and a chocolate shell crowning the creation. While the dessert was delightful, its richness proved challenging to finish after an already substantial meal.
