Here goes the Season's Special menu from Mainland China . Mainland China, South City Mall is considered to be one of the best places for Chinese cuisines ... So , recently they have launched their seasons special menu which includes 4 Appetizers , 4 mains and 2 choice of Rice and noodles. Basically they themed out this menu on focusing duck and turkey , so you will get try a lot about this. The items we tried here , are : . In the appetizers , we tried, 🌸Duck and Mushroom Gyoza : This is thr best item I had here so far. Soft juicy dumplings are filled with duck, mushroom and cheesy filling , served with a special sauce which made the taste even better.
🌸 Grilled Turkey with Basil and Dry Red Chillies : Turkey meat is tossed with basil leaves and dry red chillies.. This was so well cooked and soft.Usually I found turkey meat a bit chewy but they made it super soft and tasty . . For the Mains , we tried :
🌸 Sapo Roast Duck : Juicy pieces of ducks are cooked in some special spices which satisfies our tastebuds with a heavenly taste. . For the rice and noodles , we tried : . 🌸 Smoked Duck Fried Rice with Edamame : Edamame is a peas like vegetable ingredient which is basically used in Japanese cuisines.So here the fried rice was cooked with minced duck meat and edamame . This one was very less oily and flavourful. 🌸 Sliced Turkey and Pakchoy Noodles : I got the authentic flavour of noodles after so long . Mainland is organizing Special Duck & Turkey Festival.
Mainland China has always been my go to place along with my friends and family for Chinese food cravings. And when it comes to Season Specials, you can't miss it.
The Season’s Special Duck & Turkey festival comprises of Duck and Mushroom Gyoza:
The Mushroom Gyoza was byfar the best thing I have ever tasted here in Mainland China. It had the perfect meaty feeling, with the perfect blend of spices .
The Sapo Roast Duck was cooked using a special spice mix prior to which it was brined and braised. I loved the roasted flavour of the duck. The secret sauce used to cook it increased the flavour of the entire preparation. This particular dish went really well with the Smoked Duck Fried Rice.
The Sliced Turkey and Pakchoy Noodles, a unique and humble preparation gets complemented well by the zing and smoke from the Dry Wok Spicy Duck.
Beside all this I also loved the Braised Turkey in Roasted Garlic Sauce, it had a unique taste and the Amazing balance of all the spices and sauces makes it even more delicious.
Coming to the quantity, it is enough to be shared with 2 heads .
The Gyoza is priced at Rs. 445, the Rice & Noodles at Rs. 475 and the mains are priced at Rs. 675 (Taxes s.eparate for all). This Special festival will be there till 3rd of January, 2021.
