Authentic Flavors & Great Service at Bedouin Sher e Bengal!
I recently visited Bedouin Sher e Bengal Restaurant, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with traditional decor, soft lighting, and a comfortable seating arrangement. The staff was polite and attentive — a special mention to the waiter in traditional attire who added a touch of elegance to the experience.
We ordered the Chicken Tandoori Biryani, Mixed Rice Noodles, and Garlic Fish — and everything exceeded our expectations.
The Chicken Tandoori Biryani was aromatic and packed with flavor, featuring juicy pieces of tandoori chicken and perfectly cooked basmati rice.
The Mixed Rice Noodles were light, well-seasoned, and generously filled with veggies, chicken, and scrambled eggs — great for sharing.
The Garlic Fish was a standout — crispy on the outside, tender inside, and full of garlicky goodness.
The portion sizes were generous, and the food was served hot and fresh. The green chutney on the side was also a nice, tangy complement.
Highly recommended for anyone craving good food in a relaxed setting. Looking forward to...

Ordered dinner from Bedouin Shere Bengal through Swiggy – 2 plates of mutton biryani, 1 chicken biryani, and 1 chicken reshmi kebab. What we received was a complete nightmare.
The biryani was drenched in overpowering synthetic scent, making it nearly impossible to eat. The potato was undercooked and clearly of poor quality, and shockingly, the egg served with the biryani was completely rotten. My brother accidentally swallowed some and is now suffering from a severe stomach upset.
To make matters worse, the raita had a strand of hair in it – utterly disgusting and unhygienic. The quantity was very poor, the mutton pieces were extremely small and dry – not at all worth the Rs. 340 they charge per plate. Street biryani in Kolkata at half the price tastes and feels far better and more honest than this.
We live in Mumbai and were visiting Kolkata. This was supposed to be a nostalgic dinner before heading back – but this experience ruined our evening. Absolutely unacceptable from a restaurant that has been around for decades.
Not recommended at all. They’ve completely lost their quality...
Read moreThis place is absolutely good for day out. They will provide you food at affordable price. However, the quality of food differs. If you are going there in festivals then you can't expect their original quality of food. Other time in year they provide extremely good quality of food. The price range of drinks is high as compared to its food price. The atmosphere is good and they have AC in their restaurant so you don't have to bother with scorching heat in this summer. You can spend roughly 2hours here. Best time to visit this place is launch time the restaurant has less crowd at that time. You can seat beside the window and can enjoy your meal with road view. it is exactly at the opposite side of basanti devi college Gariahat. After finishing your meal you can purchase jewellery, crockery, showpiece. You can get this thing in low price as compared to others market in Gariahat. The behaviour of the staffs in this restaurant is good. This factor make you fee more comfortable with this place. It has bathroom but it is extremely hot inside and it is just okay type of. You may feel uncomfortable while using...
