Hungry Tide is a tiny hole-in-the-wall food joint near Golpark. It's just 3 minutes walk from Ramkrishna Mission. You can use your phone's Google Maps to locate the joint. It's very easy to find.
I ordered Bacon wrapped Prawn with cheese. They prepare their dishes after the order. Due to this it takes time to get the food. The Bacon Wrapped Prawn was delicious. I had it 4 hours ago, but its taste still lingers in my mouth. I easily distinguished the taste of prawn and bacon. It was fried in such a way that it remained tender and juicy. It came with 6 pieces and the cost was Rs. 410.
They have a wide variety of items. The owner said the chilli pork is famous in Kolkata and Howrah. Only drawback is their is no proper dine-in arrangement. That said, it's a must visit place if you love chinese. Also, the owner of the joint is also very nice and humble person. He said that they don't do any kind of advertising other than word of mouth. I'll visit soon to...

I visited this joint with high hopes after going through various reviews, and this place lived upto my expectation.
I had mongolian crunchy chilli pork and hakka noodles. I loved the pork recipe till the last bite. There was a subtle heat of bell peppers, garlic and ginger which gave me a runny nose. On the same time, there was a certain sweetness which also appealed to my taste buds. Needless to mention, the meat was cooked to perfection. The noodle was also cooked likewise and there was a generous amount of chicken pieces and egg. Both the dish was sufficient for 2 people.
Mongolian crunchy chilli pork - 4.5/5 Hakka noodles - 3.5/5
Overall, I loved the experience and am looking forward to taste other delicious item...

He refused saying that taking my order would mean he would have to honour the others waiting as well. I found 2 guys from Swiggy waiting and another customer looking up the menu to place their order. I suppose the man at the counter had accepted theirs because he didn't turn them down the way he did to us. I don't think I'll go...
