WOW Chicken — Restaurant in Kolkata

Absolutely Horrible Experience! Yesterday, my friends and I visited this outlet for the first time. We placed our order at 9:15 p.m. Understandably, food preparation takes time. However, we noticed that customers who came after us and ordered after us were being served before us.

Eventually, at 9:45 p.m., our food was served — only to discover that they had messed up our order. One of the items — 2 fried chicken and 2 wings, was missing. We informed the staff, and they told us it would take another 6–7 minutes to prepare. We were still okay with that.

But even after finishing the food that had already been served, and waiting an additional 15 minutes (now 10:05 p.m.), the missing items were still not served. One staff member kept telling another to serve the remaining order to our table, yet no one took any initiative. The lack of communication among the staff in such a reputed outlet was extremely disappointing.

Finally, after waiting over an hour, we decided not to wait any longer and leave. Just as we were walking out, one of the employees casually said, “We’ll pack your remaining order.”

After waiting for 1 hour and 5 minutes for a small order, we were all extremely frustrated and told them to just keep the food, we didn’t want it anymore.

I’ve never had such a terrible experience at any outlet until now. Zero communication, zero customer service, and a complete lack of responsibility from the staff. Absolutely...

0/5 – A Masterclass in How to Ruin Chicken Wow! Chicken on Prince Anwar Shah Road is a disaster dressed as a restaurant. The chicken was a tragic mix of greasy outside and dry, stringy inside — as if it had been fried days ago and reheated just for me. The so-called “crispy” coating was limp and peeling off, and the flavor was so bland it made plain bread taste exciting.

The fries were lifeless, soggy, and tasted like they’d been stored in a damp cardboard box. The dips? Thin, watery, and completely forgettable. Service was painfully slow, and the staff acted like serving customers was an inconvenience.

This place feels less like a restaurant and more like a warning. If you want good chicken, literally any other shop in the area...

∆ Ambience- The yellowish orange theme adds a vibrant touch to the interior. The spacious place has proper seating arrangement.

∆ Food- I order from Lunch Mania menu- •• Periperi Grilled Chicken Burger Meal- it includes 1 juicy Periperi Chicken Patty Burger along with 1 French Fried & 1 Coke.

•• Periperi strips Meal- it has 2 crispy Periperi Chicken Strips with 1 French Fried & 1 Coke.

•• Every item of this meal is properly prepared & extremely delicious.

∆ Staffs' Behaviour- Staffs were courteous & service was quick.

∆ So, enjoy the wowlicious meals with your loved ones.
