Theobroma Bakery and Cake Shop - Hinjewadi, Pune — Restaurant in Maharashtra

I want to bring this to your attention a serious incident which happend with me and my fiance. We visited Hinjewadi phase 1 Pune outlet on Friday 15th, 2024. We parked our vehicle (4 wheeler) outside the shop. There is a pub behind the Theobroma shop, few of the parking staff members barged into the shop while we were eating our pastries and started giving bad curse words/swear words that we have parked the car outside the shop which is blocking the entry for other cars although there was enough space for even an XUV to go ahead (There was no rush and no car was trying to get inside). The Theobroma staff did’nt do anything and just watched and laughed that this was hapenning. They did’nt even tell the person who was swearing to let us finish our pastries and insted told us that we want to be in their good books because we have to work here till night. They forced us to move the car while we were eating and could’nt bother to wait for 5 minutes to finish out pastries.

Theobroma should support their customers and hire staff who actually cares for their customers. I will definitely not recommend Theobroma to anyone and neither me and my family will visit again.

We left our pastries half eaten then and there and left the shop even though we fully paid for the same and the staff was not at all bothered neither apologied that this happed with us. This is really unprofessional behaviour from a reputed brand...

Theobroma Bakery and Cake Shop – Hinjewadi, Pune 🍰

I recently ordered from Theobroma via Zomato, planning to visit the shop if the taste was good. While the packaging was impressive and gave off great vibes, I was disappointed with the food quality, quantity and taste

I ordered several items, including Paneer Puff, Paneer Roll, Rich Chocolate Pastry, Paneer Jungle Sandwich, and Chicken Cheese Puff, all for ₹506 (after using a coupon). The pastry was completely damaged despite the box being in perfect condition – a common complaint I've seen in other reviews too in zomato only.

As for the taste, it was nothing special. The portions were small for the price, and the sandwich was the worst I’ve ever had – just a single slice. The overall flavor didn’t justify the high cost, and I didn’t find anything unique or worth the price. 💸

I won’t be planning to visit the shop anytime soon. It’s worth trying once, but for the price, it didn’t live up to expectations. Not great value for money. 🤔
