A Flavorsome Delight from 5 Spice - Pali Hill, Bandra West

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

I recently had the pleasure of ordering a delectable Chinese meal from 5 Spice restaurant in Pali Hill, Bandra West, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From start to finish, the entire experience was flawless, leaving me thoroughly impressed and satisfied.

The dishes I ordered included Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Hakka Noodles, Chilly Chicken, and Chicken Manchurian, and each one was a standout in its own right. Let me share my thoughts on each:

Chicken Fried Rice: The Chicken Fried Rice was perfectly cooked and wonderfully seasoned. The tender pieces of chicken were evenly distributed throughout the rice, creating a delightful balance of flavors in every bite. The vegetables added a refreshing crunch, making it a wholesome and satisfying meal on its own.

Chicken Hakka Noodles: The Chicken Hakka Noodles were a true revelation! They were cooked to perfection with the right level of chewiness, and the generous amount of succulent chicken pieces made it a hearty and flavorsome dish. The medley of vegetables added a burst of colors and flavors, making it an irresistible treat.

Chilly Chicken: The Chilly Chicken was an absolute showstopper! The chicken was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and tossed in a tantalizing blend of spices and sauces that left my taste buds dancing with joy. This dish had the perfect balance of spiciness and tanginess, making it a true winner for spice lovers like me.

Chicken Manchurian: The Chicken Manchurian was a delightful blend of savory and sweet flavors. The succulent chicken balls were coated in a luscious Manchurian sauce that had just the right amount of richness and depth. It paired wonderfully with the fried rice, creating a harmonious combination that I couldn't get enough of.

Beyond the exceptional food, the delivery service was prompt and professional. The packaging was secure, ensuring that the dishes arrived fresh and piping hot. The staff was courteous and accommodating, making the overall experience even more enjoyable.

In conclusion, my dining experience with 5 Spice in Pali Hill, Bandra West, was nothing short of phenomenal. The flavors, quality, and presentation of the dishes were outstanding, and I am already looking forward to my next order. If you're a fan of Chinese cuisine and crave a memorable culinary journey, look no further than 5 Spice - you won't be...

I used to eat at the Pali outlet, where Punjab Sweets has now opened, and I’ve been a big fan since then. Unfortunately, this outlet was a bit disappointing 😕. The ambiance is very small and unpleasant, with poorly situated ACs – one side blasts cold air on your face, while the other side feels hot. The tables were also sticky, which shows a lack of cleanliness.

A major concern was the hygiene 😬. I noticed the person making drinks was transferring ice with his bare hands. This is a serious safety issue, and they should hire professionals or a manager to monitor staff behavior and maintain standards.

As for the food, the crispy chicken rice is good and costs around ₹700, which I’d say is sufficient for two people 🍛. However, their food quality has declined compared to earlier times.

An urgent and important request: please change the staff or hire a supervisor to ensure everything runs smoothly and maintain hygiene and cleanliness....

The food was worse than atrocious. I had ordered Crackling Spinach Chicken in which the Spinach was totally raw. It was just put in the box with red chillies and sent. That's about it. The Chicken was dry and it was giving out a very bad smell too as if stored frozen for a very long time. The Crispy Chicken Rice what we ordered was also bland unlike the some other times we had eaten that. It was again giving out a stale smell. On calling the restaurant and informing about this he was explaining to me how the spinach is fried and served instead of just apologizing. I neither asked for a refund nor a replacement just that he accepted the mistake but that was also too much for him. He didn't reveal his name even after asking him several times. This is how the standard and quality of 5 spice had tremendously degraded. All reading this please dont order from this branch ever again.. I've learnt it the hard way...
