Costa coffee — Restaurant in Mumbai

This is review for Costa Coffee, which is located outside (not inside) Terminal 2. The latte cup size was very small, not the one you normally get in the UK. But the biggest problem was with butter croissant. Me and my sister went to this shop which is outside terminal 2 before I catch my plane back home. The only thing we had in common in last 72 hours was the coffee and butter croissant from Costa. Coffee taste was normal which is as expected, but we could not finish the croissant as it was too bad, arguably few days old. So had to throw it in the bin. We did mention it to the person at the till. According to him, it was fresh and got it in the early morning hours. The quality of the croissant was confirmed in around 8 hours as we both (me and my sister) got diarrhea in the evening. Service was not so bad but not very good either. Not very good because, the person served us did not give us receipt. This could be because the advertised price of coffee and croissant did not match to the total he charged us. It was not a huge amount, so I ignored it. I think, I should have asked for the receipt. PS: @Costa management, If required I can provide you further...

Dear Costa Coffee, I just bought a chicken sandwich from your outlet at gate 45 of T2 Mumbai. How can you sell a sandwich that's stinking??? Literally stinking. Since it was a takeaway parcel and my boarding had started, I sensed the smell the moment I boarded the bus (and i couldn't go back to the counter). I still tried a bite....I had to be doubly sure. I am at Terminal 2 Costa coffee. Thought would have a cuppa and relax before heading to the gate. But looking at the condition of the sofa and seats ,u dont feel like seating here. We pay a premium price and this is the mantainace of the area. Really disappointed. Asked for a latte, hot extra shot, but the coffee was not good at all.
