Burn, Kitchen and Malt room ❖ My Recommendations- • Passionate Affair(Cocktail) • Kalmi Kebab(Appetizer) • Lamb shank(Mains) • Chicken in creamy black pepper sauce(Mains) • Khari with yes kulfi ❖ Location- A building just next to trade centre in BKC, as we all knows that BKC is a corporate hub but now it’sreally turning out to be a food hub too. Restaurants are flooded in this area.(4.5/5) ❖ Theme-A resto bar serving modern Indian, Asian cuisine and can say ideal for a nightlife. (Can say a perfect party place of BKC. (4.5/5) ❖ Ambience- Big places always look classy with simple yet beautiful interiors done inside. This place is huge and got classy ambience for sure. Wooden walls with books are something what I really liked. Got sofas, high chairs for seating which were really comfortable. Big tables give perfect idea of the group coming in to the restaurant.Bar set is again something I felt was wonderful and bartenders serving few of the classic and innovative cocktails.(4/5) ❖ Food and Beverage- Each restaurant who is focussed on alcohol and party theme requires really good food in their menu. When it comes to Food and Beverage they were really amazing. They have mix cuisine but mainly focused on modern Indian and Italian cuisine. They are coming up with new menu in which they will add few of the chef’s special dishes and will keep most favourite dishes of their last menu (4.5/5) Beverages- • VODKA ELDERFLOWER MARTINI (Cocktail) -vodka based drink made with or without egg white along with elderflower, pomegranate and lime. Simple and classy I can say about this drink.(4/5) • PASSIONATE AFFAIR (Cocktail) Passion fruit flavoured cocktail made with passion fruit, vanilla and vodka. As its named, it was a passionate affair in did.(4.5/5) Food- • MALAI MURG LASOONI SHORBA (soup) - A broth soup made with chicken stock and it had chicken chunks, good amount of garlic and coriander. Simple yet really flavoursome. Would have loved more hot than which came to the table. (4/5) • CRISPY POTATOES (Burn Gourmet Bites) - Potatoesthick sliced (Wafer potatoes not the normal one) and deep fried to be crispy enough and then tossed along with sweet chilli sauce, siracha and good amount of onion juliennes. Nice and innovative dish I can say(4/5) • MONGOLIAN CHICKEN (Appetizers) - thick chicken leg cubes tossed in Mongolian sauce along with the onions and garnished with freshly chopped coriander. A must order dish along with your favourite cocktails as your starter.(4.5/5) • KALMI KABAB (Appetizers) - Big chunky cubes of chicken legs (Boneless) marinated in Indian spices and then grilled to give a smoky, aromatic and a perfect grilled texture. One of the best kebabs I had was cooked to the perfection. Strongly recommended dish.(5/5) • BURN FIERY WINGS(Appetizer)- chicken wings tossed in chilli garlic sauce along with few triangle cuts of mix peppers and spring onions, garnished with spring onion and served with side salad. ❖ To sum up- Corporate areas got most party places in Mumbai i believe and this is addition to them, if someone is looking to enjoy and have a blasting party time then they must visit this place for sure. Ambience, food and drinks are the key points here and the party atmosphere which is created. Strongly recommend this place to each party animal and who is looking for a happening evening their own group. I must not forget the music which they were playing, a perfect tunes for the happening evening. Would visit again for sure. Thank you so much Burn for amazing experience.

Burn is located in BKC, and it’s a one-of-a-kind resto-bar serving single malt whiskies from different countries around the world. To be honest, you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to what to eat and drink at this place. On entering, you will feel as if you have entered some kind of Gentleman's Secret Club. The seating is very posh with suede furnishing, the lights are dim, the bar is lit. It's a great ambience to spend an evening at specially with the whiskies. I visited with my friends on a Sunday to have a taste of their food. Chicken Caesar's Salad : I started with the Chicken Caesar's Salad as it's my favorite. Crisp lettuce along with olives and cherry tomatoes and bread croutons, the vegetables were really fresh and the overall salad felt really refreshing. Burmese Khowsuey : I was very much in the mood for Khowsuey and so decided to order this. I loved the dish. The coconut flavor in the soup was perfect. The noodles were cooked al dente. The presentation was bang on. If you are a fan of khowsuey, you can give this a try. Mushroom Soup : Another variety of soup I was very keen on trying is the mushroom soup. I am not a fan of mushrooms but this soup did not taste alot like mushrooms which was the vest part. Very creamy very buttery texture. Burn Special Veg Pizza : A thin crust cheesy pizza with olives, bell peppers, jalapenos, onions, corn amd a sprinkle of coriander leaves. I really loved the balance of the sauce and the veggies. BBQ Chicken Wings : Wings are my favorite specially when I am having cocktails or beers. Thr barbecue wings here were perfectly cooked and tossed in bbq sauce. I would have liked if they added more spiciness to it. Chicken in Brown Sauce : For the main course, I had the Chicken in Brown Sauce. This had a really big piece of chicken which for me is the USP of the dish. They serve it along with rice and sautéed vegetables. I really liked the brown sauce which was buttery and creamy had a mild flavor of chicken. The chicken piece though was a little bit overcooked but overall it tasted good. A must try here. Pan Seared Basa with Lemon Butter Sauce : I was craving for fish and so I ordered the Pan Seared Basa with Lemon Butter Sauce. I asked for rice and mashed potatoes on the side too. I loved the basa so much that the whole dish was completed within minutes. Very well cooked basa, the lemon butter sauce combination went really well with the fish. I am going back to Burn to eat this again. ** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ** Burning Hot Chocolate Ball : For the desserts, I had the Chocolate Ball. They have a gimmick that they do before we can eat the chocolate ball. They burn a liquor and then pour it on top of the ball and then the chocolate on top melts and mixes with the liquor. It's a great video moment. Coming to the taste, for people who really love chocolate, you guys will fall in love with this dish. Its full of chocolate and brownie and they also have ice cream inside. It's the perfect end to a meal. Black Forest Bombe : I also tried the Black Forest Bombe which is basically a dark chocolate pastry. I loved it. Would have loved some vanilla ice cream along with this. All in all, an evening well spent.

Burn – Bar & Kitchen: Pub lounge concept is pretty hit amongst many places and Burn adds to one of the top spots to be in BKC. Ambience wise, BURN is dim lit, classy wooden decked interiors with huge single space with long tables towards one corner and bar on other side and small/medium tables in between. They also have private party area which is somehow stark divergent from its main area in terms of the lightning. Coming to things we had Starting off to drinks, whiskey sour (Rating 5/5), old fashioned (Rating 5/5) and LIIT (Rating 5/5) the classic cocktails are usually my go to. With just one sip into drink you realise those men “behind bar” know their job very well. I was gratified having well-made cocktail as it had perfect balance of spirits, right amount of ice and other ingredients. Coming to food, so they have concept of platters and out of platters you can also order individual dish which is something unique yet smart of them. -    Burmese Khao Suey Soup Veg (Rating 4/5) – Perfect balance of richness in coconut milk, smooth noodles, crunchy peanuts and aromatic yet exotic flavour of garlic, caramelized onion and small hints of chili sauce, well that’s how beautiful this was. Though it didn’t really wow my palate as I felt it needed little more seasoning and it would have been perfect. -    Veg Platter (Mexican) (Rating 3.5/5) – Black bean quesadilla, trio nachos with cheese sauce, paneer tacos, Mexican golgappa were part of the platter. Out of all the nachos were my fav and rest turned out to be pretty average ones. Must order nachos separately, recommended. -    Non Veg Platter (Indian) (Rating 5/5) – This had Kalmi Kebab with laccha paratha, Murgh Tikka, Mutton Seekh Kebab and Fish tikka. Everything on the plate was just WOW!. Loved the succulent tikkas to nicely spiced kebabs and the fish was too good too. I highly recommend this platter and each item on the platter for order, you wont be disappointed. -    Non Veg Platter (American) (Rating 3.5/5) – So it has BBQ chicken wings, mini hotdog, American chicken pizzas, curried chicken tenders and potato wedges. I was somewhat displeased by eating each one. The only thing I liked to some extent were chicken tenders and bbq chicken wings as they were at least flavoursome whereas rest of the items were pretty bland to my taste honestly. -    Cottage Cheese Steak with Paprika Sauce (Rating 3.5/5) – Great on presentation, flat on taste to sum it up and paneer pieces were somewhat hard. It also needed great deal of seasoning be it to add flavors and salt etcetra. -    Prawns in Lemon Sauce (Rating 4/5) – Prawns were bang on amazing. Loved the creamy buttery texture of the curry wrapped on these lovely littles. It oozed out pungent smell pretty soon the moment it was resting at a table I didn’t understand, why so. -    For desserts we tried black forest bombe (Rating 5/5) and Burning Hot Chocolate Ball. Both lovely desserts to have. Surely my fav was burning hot chocolate ball as its pleasing to see the egg shell break by pouring in flaming red wine over its top and discover some icecream and cake underneath. Overall experience was pretty great and my rating is 4.

Burn Kitchen & Malt Room is one of its kind concept. Located in the corporate capital of the city amidst all the skyrocketing buildings and fine dine restaurants, Burn – Kitchen & Malt Room is the first this city has ever seen, with a massive collection of single malts from over 70 countries across the globe. It’s one of the best in the city and providing the perfect place for intimacy, luxury and a corporate greet over a variety of whiskey, scotch and cigars.

Burn Kitchen & Malt Room is decked up from the exterior angle as a classically elegant & a posh place to visit, with their huge logo mounted in the pedestrian vicinity. The entrance marks a huge black door with Burn monogram embedded towards its left and one step into the interiors, you can feel the vibe of the place. The whole venue is brushed in shades of brown with yellow dim lights showcasing a huge bar on the right with bar stools and comfort leather upholstery seating towards the left and tables for two placed systematically in between the both. On the extreme stretch, there is comfort seating towards the either side with artificial bonfires on one side with shelves on the other which are filled with folders, malts and cigar boxes. The bar also displays the whole single malt collection and the interior allures of luxury and royalty at large. In short, it is a perfect setting for a classic dining experience & an ice breaking conversation.

The malt room being paramount in its own way, the venue imbibes a more corporate soul yet entertains a youthful spirit with its snuggly and chic bar ambience. The advantage of being in the prime location of Mumbai which is Bandra Kurla Complex with a very unique concept which sets Burn apart from the others.

Burn has 4 soups on the menu (2 Veg and 2 Non-veg). I tried the Roasted Tomato and Coriander Seeds Bisque Soup. It is served piping hot with crunchy croutons. Moving on to the salads, I tried the Creamy Goat Cheese with Caramelized Apple. The dish is tasty and equally photogenic as well. This Arugula salad is served with brittle walnuts and a balsamic dressing.

For beverages, I had Cranberry Juice and Fresh Orange Juice. With an array of options (both for veg as well as non-veg) for appetizers, I was spoilt for choice. And I ended up ordering the Peppery Cheese Rolls. The Cheese & Pepper Thai Rolls are served in a glass with a sweet and spicy dip and grated veggies. Coming to the speciality of the restaurant, Burn gourmet Bites. I tried the Roasted Pepper and Herbs Marinated Cottage Cheese Tikka, Malai Paneer Kebab and Cheese Cigars. Roasted Pepper and Herbs Marinated Cottage Cheese Tikka has paneer marinated in Burn’s homemade sauce with roasted Aioli and is served with spicy tomato sauce. Malai Paneer Kebab has cashew and cheese marinated and perfectly grilled. Cheese Rolls with Jalapeno is fried with spicy cheddar sauce.

The Fully Loaded Veggie Burn Burger is a must-try as it is not only a Burn’s signature dish but also a popular choice among the youth who visit the restaurant. The burger has cheddar cheese, extra hot spicy sauce, pickled jalapenos and a veggie patty. It is very filling and is very affordable. The main course at Burn has a variety of Adventurous Modern Fusion, Intercontinental and Indian dishes. I tried the Dhingri Makai Hara Pyaaz and Kadhai Paneer. Dhingri Makai Hara Pyaaz has mushroom, corn and spring onion cooked in dry masalas. Kadhai Paneer have Paneer cubes tossed with special Kadhai Masala. Alongside the main course dishes, I had Garlic Butter Naan, Cheese Masala Kulcha and Garlic Bread with Cheese.

Burn offers 7 desserts and I tried the Sizzling Chocolate Cigar and Blueberry Cheesecake. The Sizzling Chocolate Cigar was served hot with chocolate sauce and the Blueberry Cheesecake just melted in my mouth.

My experience at Burn was one of it’s kind. Do visit Burn – Kitchen...

Burn, Kitchen and Malt room ❖ My Recommendations- • Passionate Affair(Cocktail) • Kalmi Kebab(Appetizer) • Lamb shank(Mains) • Chicken in creamy black pepper sauce(Mains) • Khari with yes kulfi

❖ Location- A building just next to trade centre in BKC, as we all knows that BKC is a corporate hub but now it’sreally turning out to be a food hub too. Restaurants are flooded in this area.(4.5/5)

❖ Theme-A resto bar serving modern Indian, Asian cuisine and can say ideal for a nightlife. (Can say a perfect party place of BKC. (4.5/5)

❖ Ambience- Big places always look classy with simple yet beautiful interiors done inside. This place is huge and got classy ambience for sure. Wooden walls with books are something what I really liked. Got sofas, high chairs for seating which were really comfortable. Big tables give perfect idea of the group coming in to the restaurant.Bar set is again something I felt was wonderful and bartenders serving few of the classic and innovative cocktails.(4/5)

❖ Food and Beverage- Each restaurant who is focussed on alcohol and party theme requires really good food in their menu. Simple and classy I can say about this drink.(4/5)

• PASSIONATE AFFAIR (Cocktail) Passion fruit flavoured cocktail made with passion fruit, vanilla and vodka. (4/5)

• CRISPY POTATOES (Burn Gourmet Bites) - Potatoesthick sliced (Wafer potatoes not the normal one) and deep fried to be crispy enough and then tossed along with sweet chilli sauce, siracha and good amount of onion juliennes. Nice and innovative dish I can say(4/5)

• MONGOLIAN CHICKEN (Appetizers) - thick chicken leg cubes tossed in Mongolian sauce along with the onions and garnished with freshly chopped coriander. A must order dish along with your favourite cocktails as your starter.(4.5/5)

• KALMI KABAB (Appetizers) - Big chunky cubes of chicken legs (Boneless) marinated in Indian spices and then grilled to give a smoky, aromatic and a perfect grilled texture. One of the best kebabs I had was cooked to the perfection. Strongly recommended dish.(5/5)

• BURN FIERY WINGS(Appetizer)- chicken wings tossed in chilli garlic sauce along with few triangle cuts of mix peppers and spring onions, garnished with spring onion and served with side salad.

Thank you so much Burn for...

Chicken Caesar's Salad :

I started with the Chicken Caesar's Salad as it's my favorite. Crisp lettuce along with olives and cherry tomatoes and bread croutons, the vegetables were really fresh and the overall salad felt really refreshing.

Burmese Khowsuey :

I was very much in the mood for Khowsuey and so decided to order this. I loved the dish. The coconut flavor in the soup was perfect. The noodles were cooked al dente. The presentation was bang on. If you are a fan of khowsuey, you can give this a try.

Mushroom Soup :

Another variety of soup I was very keen on trying is the mushroom soup. I am not a fan of mushrooms but this soup did not taste alot like mushrooms which was the vest part. Very creamy very buttery texture.

Burn Special Veg Pizza :

A thin crust cheesy pizza with olives, bell peppers, jalapenos, onions, corn amd a sprinkle of coriander leaves. I really loved the balance of the sauce and the veggies.

BBQ Chicken Wings :

Wings are my favorite specially when I am having cocktails or beers. Thr barbecue wings here were perfectly cooked and tossed in bbq sauce. I would have liked if they added more spiciness to it.

Chicken in Brown Sauce :

For the main course, I had the Chicken in Brown Sauce.

Pan Seared Basa with Lemon Butter Sauce :

I was craving for fish and so I ordered the Pan Seared Basa with Lemon Butter Sauce. I asked for rice and mashed potatoes on the side too. I loved the basa so much that the whole dish was completed within minutes. Very well cooked basa, the lemon butter sauce combination went really well with the fish. I am going back to Burn to eat this again.

  • HIGHLY RECOMMENDED *

Burning Hot Chocolate Ball :

For the desserts, I had the Chocolate Ball.

Black Forest Bombe :

I also tried the Black Forest Bombe which is basically a dark chocolate pastry. I loved it. Would have loved some vanilla ice cream along with this.

All in all, an...
