Carter's Blue — Restaurant in Mumbai

Ill-mannered & untrained staff: You lost a good customer(s).

I often order home delivery from this restaurant, only few times I have dined-in. Last time when I went for dine-in with a friend, suddenly while I was in the middle of eating food & in conversation with my friend. The waiter interrupts and stand on my head and starts asking If I would like to have something in deserts and started suggesting. When I said no thank you, in next minute he comes and puts my food bill on the table. I was shocked as I was in middle of finishing my food. Later I realised this is the cheap technique which is being used by this restaurant to push people out.

When I asked for manager, I was told that He has gone for a break, which was a lie as I know who the manager is and he was loitering around. I ordered around 4 items and within half and hour waiter comes and slams the bill on my table. Shame on Carters Blue management of Malad (west). Are you guys doing a favour on your customers by letting them sit for dine-in, we pay you money for services and this is what you give back to your customers. Looks like they hire waiters from tea stalls near railway stations, who has no Etiquettes & zero knowledge of customer service. Never ever I am ordering or going in this restaurant again, and even my friends have decided to not visit or order from this place ever again.Through 1 customer, you guys lost...

"If you're considering a visit to Carter's Blue, I would strongly advise against it. This restaurant has failed to live up to its former reputation of high standards. From the top down, the management and staff have let their customers down. My recent visit to the restaurant was meant to be a fine dining experience, but it turned out to be anything but that.

To start with, I was shocked to be served food on disposable plates, which is not something you expect from a fine dining establishment. When I inquired about the reason for this, the response was unsatisfactory - apparently, the plates were being rinsed. Moreover, one of our orders took an incredibly long 40 minutes to arrive at our table, while the rest of our party had already finished their meals. Adding to the disappointment was the fact that the pickled beetroot we were expecting was replaced with some bland alternative.

All of this would have been bad enough, but what really sealed the deal was the indifferent and unprofessional response we received when we left a negative review of our experience. The social media manager, Siddhant, not only failed to take responsibility for the poor experience, but was also downright rude and dismissive.

For a price of 1100 bucks, this was a truly horrible dining experience. I strongly advise against visiting...
