If you’re someone who enjoys the unique flavors of Bangalore-style food, then this restaurant in Mumbai is definitely worth checking out. One of their standout dishes is the “Set Dosa,” which is quite rare to find in Mumbai restaurants. It brings a slice of South India right to the heart of the city.
Now, let’s talk about the food quality — it’s genuinely impressive. They offer a range of South Indian delicacies like Idly, various types of Dosas, Vadas, and more. They also have wholesome rice bowl options, like Rajma Chawal and other comfort food. But what truly steals the spotlight is their “Chhole Bhature.” It’s rich, flavorful, and filling. What’s even better is their healthier version made with wheat flour — something you should definitely try at least once!
The restaurant’s location and theme are pretty unique too. From the outside, it’s designed like a train coach, and once you step in, it feels like you’re sitting in a chair car. They even have signboards showing the names of cities where they’ve opened other franchises. Outside, there’s a takeaway counter and a separate ice-cream stall.
The service is commendable — the staff are warm, friendly, and very helpful. Despite being next to a busy railway station, the place is well-maintained and clean.

It's been a long time since to visited the Haldiran restaurant as I prefer to order from Zomota though it's family time let go enjoy the ambience and have quality time spent with delicious food.
I and my partner made plans to go and we ordered our favourite thali! The order was taken by the manager who forgot to place an order. Sad part! There was no rush, no weekend, I don't know why she wasted our one hour and later on when I asked the staff there how long it would take the staff had no clue which order so I got that the order had not been placed. Then again my partner has given the order and we are getting late for meetings. The staff was so polite and said sorry however till the time we received our meal we got the call to attend the meeting calls! It was a pathetic experience since morning we didn't have anything and the Famous Haldriam restaurant experience was the worst! Although never happened with other outlets in other cities. Even the staff is better than the managers in these outlets I must say!
At least we paid what we ordered and didn't have anything, just wasted our time coz of them!
The manager doesn't have the courtesy to apologize even though she didn't come to meet when I asked for her! Truly bad...
