Good food, a bit expensive but flavors are good. Tandoori chicken was small in size but very tender and melt in mouth. I was trying to order Tandoori chicken from Renault restaurant in Byculla, but it was closed. So found this Masala Kitchen option in FoodPanda.
The price of Tandoori chicken was very high at Rs. 380 with Rs. 25 extra for delivery. But still I ordered as I had a 30% off Foodpanda coupon.
When the order came, 1st time ever I saw a restaurant deliver Tandoori Chicken in a container. All others pack it in an aluminium foil. Just by looking at the size of the container my mom said, “I think they delivered half tandoori chicken”. But it was the size of the chicken which was small. Now coming to flavors. The chicken was awesomely flavored and perfectly cooked. The meat was juicy and tender. As far as I could remember, one of the best chicken tandoori I have had. I totally loved it. The chicken came along with onions which were flavored with mild spices and green chutney which was not too spicy but good in taste.
Chicken Gilafi Seekh container, Masala Kitchen Chicken Gilafi Seekh, Masala Kitchen Chicken Gilafi Seekh: Came with nice presentation. Opening the container itself gave a very good looking thing inside. The taste was 3/5. Flavor was better when had with green chutney which comes along. Seekh was a bit on the drier side. When compared to Seekh of Hotel Sigdi, Byculla and Delhi Darbar which I consider as benchmarks, it was not up to the mark. But still a good dish. The price was average, not too cheap or expensive.
Butter Chicken Container, Masala Kitchen Butter Chicken, Masala Kitchen Butter Chicken 2, Masala Kitchen Butter Chicken: It came with tasty but a bit sweetish gravy, but the quantity of chicken was a bit less according to me. The taste was 3.5/5. Again not comparable to Butter Chicken of Delhi Darbar which I consider as the best at the time of writing this review. The price of Rs. 215 was perfect.
Paneer Tikka Masala: Taste was good but nothing great. Paneer was also nice and soft. It needs to be more spicy to be tastier. The taste was 3.5/5.
Cheese Garlic Naan: Add cheese and garlic to anything and it cannot taste bad. So did this. Very good in taste. The taste was 4/5.
In an all an excellent experience with this restaurant regarding taste and quality of food. Price is the only negative about...
Read moreQuick serving for wholesome meal delivery kitchen from Worli. Great Quality and Taste. Would recommend this kitchen for meal because:
From the kitchen I ordered:
Before talking about food, I would like to highlight the point of packing and delivery which is executed quite well by the kitchen. No spoilage, leakage or waste of food. Delivery is quick and easily accessible.
They have large variety of option in both vegetarian and non vegetarian in every course of meal. Some charred and tandoor dishes are even available. There is wide variety with paneer, veggies, and meat. The delivery kitchen is having an average price for each item. No issues for prices. Reasonable and affordable.
Bhatti ke Paneer: Soft paneer, with spice and little hint of kasuri methi marination. Well mixed and balanced flavors. Bite of paneer would have everything creaminess of paneer, and flavorful marination over paneer.
Kalonji Subji Miloni: Kalonji basically is onion seeds. This gravy is about taste and infused flavors of kalonji and veggies. Mild spice, complete veggies and little thick gravy. Good flavor of Kalonji neither too strong nor too mild it as required. This taste best when served with Roti.
Roti served was hot and fresh. The best part was that it was soft and easy to chew.
Amritsari Chole ki Achari Biryani: It was happiness to open the bowl of biryani with such soothing flavors of biryani and chole gravy at bottom. Long and complete bolied rice with some chopped fried onion on top. Mixed with Amritsari Chole gravy at bottom. And interesting there were less distraction in the biryani right from top layer to bottom. Well moist and flavorful biryani. Highly recommended.
Moong Dal Halwa: It was as imagined and required. Right amount of of ghee and softness for Halwa. Most important for health conscious it's healthy. One can relish without any doubt. Perfect sweetness. Nuts would have added some crunch to dish which was not there.
Food and Quality: 5/5 Packing and Delivery:...
