Vasant Refreshments — Restaurant in Mumbai

Went in Group for Lunch. Requested for AC floor and it was opened.

Now started the real fun. Once sitted inside they started dictacting what we should be eating.

Requested for Jain Sabzi and it was more than pathetic.

At Counter requested if we can have South India Dishes in AC Floor. They say it is strictly denied to serve South Indian Dishes in AC Floor during Lunch Hours.

If you want South Indian Food why are you going to AC Floor.

Really shocked that South Indian food will not be served in AC.

If you want to spoil your meal please plan to visit them. They can highly disappoint anyone.

Restaurant was not ready to serve South Indian Food during Lunch time in AC Floor is the issue and the cashier just dis respecting the guests by saying "Agar apko South Indian khana hai toh AC chod ke niche baitho. AC mein kyun gaye app."

This is the arrogance level they have.

On Saturday I had visited the restaurant for the first time and ordered for a Thali Puri. The Thali was priced Rs.185/-. I thought it would be worth eating a Thali as there are varieties in it. When the Thali came to the table it had 2 vegs, sambar, dal, curd, papad, rice, puri and a sweet. I've never see a thali with sambar. They should have given one more curry instead of sambar . A decent hotel to satisfy your hunger pangs but nothing too fancy or out of world. Better to stick with its strength while ordering.

Location: It is only hotel close to Ballard Estate Court.

Service: Fast n courteous

Food Quality: The main strength of the hotel is on South Indian dishes like Dosa, Idli, refreshments like upma and lunch items like puri bhaji. Ordering fancy items like Chinese dishes will leave you with disappointment only.
