Its been long since I last posted a review about any restaurant as all were good but one restaurant really topped the list for the worst pathetic service, the quality, and the selection of menu. While I'm still trying to process the disaster that was my experience at AnnaMaya at Andaz Delhi, I’ll start with the positive feedback during my stay at Andaz, Delhi for a staycation from 7-8 June 2025. Check-in was perfect managed by Mr. Prasad and Ms. Megha at the Reception, Ms. Jia was kind and sincere about the experience and gave a Harry potter hamper to my kid and I sincerely thank all three for their positive impression and best services. Now the reason I chose Andaz for a birthday occasion was solely for the restaurant “AnnaMaya” which I had heard a lot about. Their pan to plate service, fresh everything and etc. It had an eternal reputation which enticed me always. Things started happening on 7 June 2025 Dinner, the seating is limited , we were a group of 12 people, couldn’t get a table together but that’s ok. My senses heightened when I saw Dal Tadka and Aloo Shimla-Mirch on Veg. Menu, and 2 veg . starters as I am a vegetarian. Now why on earth on a Saturday night would the hotel decide to keep yellow dal and aloo on their rotation menu, baffles me. Being it a festival, the whole world was celebrating Eid and having a feast even the non-veg menu here was limited as my other family members noticed, we were on a limited menu. Now the management will surely say that they could have made whatever was asked for, my question is this, why not keep Dal Makhani which 90% people like and keep Dal Tadka for people who want to order pan to plate, wont it be easier ? Half an hour later was having pav bhaji when a paper sticker stuck in my mouth which I promptly took out and showed to Mr. Arijit present there, is this the quality and checks being performed at the famed restaurant ? Finally Mr. Arijit promised that we will have a great breakfast next day, but it was the most pathetic and worst buffet of my life. Mr. Pankaj was the Knight in Armor of Darkness as he seemed completely uninterested in helping us whereas he was standing 1 ft. near our table. He seemed to be suffering from a severe case of amnesia, as whatever we told him was forgotten soon enough, be it 1 Tea, a bowl of Mango or an orange juice. Pan to plate service – every dish ordered by us took atleast 40 minutes, by which time the dish became lukewarm. Due to this delay queues formed and orders got more delayed, they seated half of us near the entrance , now you will have to walk down the whole restaurant to get your single item. My opinion Stay away from this place, its overcrowded, not as people suggest, pan to plate is over hyped, if you have 5-6 hours for slow eating, maybe give it a try, service is abysmal/worse. Had a chat with Mr. Bhagwan and the restaurant manager but no feedback action even the paper found in lab bhaji , the chef was not called which shows the inferior...
Read moreI have been to Andaz plenty of times for weddings but the type of service I dealt yesterday was not at all acceptable from a 5 star hotel. Yesterday was my sister’s birthday dinner at AnnaMaya and we had the worst experience ever it was totally a spoiled evening for us. Basics of the restaurant are not in place, they have unskilled staff who are not aware of basic table service manners. The food was below average, they tried making some fusion dishes which resulted in not so good flavours. I ordered for a rose wine they weren’t able to serve me that because it was out of stock. They never changed my cutlery after my starters were done after telling them to change our plates and give us new cutlery they gave us wet set of bowls all of these things you don’t expect out of a 5 star hotel. I can assure you I get a better service and food in a normal restaurant. The staff was so unskilled or was so overloaded with work that they spilled our food on the table while serving us. Also the table which was given to us for dinner were shaking badly. I felt I wasted my money and energy by visiting your restaurant. We were four of us last night for dinner at AnnaMaya Andaz aerocity and three of us out of the four are unwell today because of food poisoning. I feel so sad that I suggested my sister this place because I have worked with Andaz on so many projects as a wedding planner. But I am afraid to say that I will never suggest any of my clients to do any event with you guys because of the degraded quality of your food, bad service, the staff has no basic service manners. It was my worst decision to get my sister for her birthday dinner to such a place which spoiled our evening and our health. I will escalate this issue to the top most authorities of Hyatt Andaz. Any Dhaba service and food is much better than your restaurant. I would request everyone to not visit them for your big days as they can spoil it easily by serving stale food and by giving you the worst service. Also I had to follow up with them again n again for my own bill as the lights got shut...
Read moreJimmy Choo, Prada, Manolo, Galliano, Louis Vuitton, the Stella Mccartney, Donatella Versace, Burberry, Yves saint lauran, Hugo Boss and many more luxurious fashion houses for centuries have maintained a dependable personality for their addicts. How & why ? Being an everything store for all walks of fad under their ceiling, perfumes, clothes, shoes, sunglasses, accessories, bags unlike the food industry & addicts. But however people with immaculate sense of food still have to visit different retailers to quench their immediate thirst for hunger or groceries. Running from one emporium to another I couldn’t help but wonder, will we ever be so escalated in life to be congruent ? AnnaMaya, is not only open 24/7 that makes it a preferred place for late night food in Delhi but encapsulates water, food grains, fruits, vegetables, milk, ghee and everything else that is required for the human body to survive and shopaholics to shop for. Pen stands, post-its, crockery, spices, chutney, pickles, chocolates, flour & rice, juices, teas, coffee and much more is available at their food hall, serving the best food and organic produce in Delhi. As i strolled the lobby of Andaz in search of their coffee shop, it suddenly dawned upon me that im crossing visual delights of wellbeing, the fruity meadows, ice lolly land, the bar for celebrations, a micro greens refrigerated farm, the bakers desk and open kitchens from around the world. Spoilt by the choices of table tops, i finally sat to order delectable magic. Ladhaki black pea shammi despite being dry as the drought tasted of authenticity with curd mint chutney, goat milk paneer Tikka couldn’t have been more amritsari while the garlic brushed chicken tikka marinated with cinnamon was mouth’s fantasy. As the mains strutted in the magic show continued with, fresh non processed marinara tossed penne jewelled by parmigiano and buttery black lentil alongside crisp &...
