Thematic Charm:
The restaurant boasts a charming village-themed ambiance, transporting you to a more rustic setting. It's a nice change from the typical modern restaurant décor and adds to the overall dining experience.
Service Excellence:
The service at Desi Villagio was truly exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made excellent recommendations and ensured our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable.
A Culinary Journey:
We embarked on our culinary adventure with the Chicken Platter, featuring six different types of seek kebabs. Each kebab boasted a unique flavor and texture, showcasing the diverse range of kebab preparations in North Indian cuisine.
Butter Chicken Bliss:
The star of the show was undoubtedly the Butter Chicken. Cooked to perfection, the chicken was tender and juicy, bathed in a rich and flavorful gravy. It was an absolute delight, living up to the reputation of Delhi's famous Butter Chicken. The accompanying naan bread was perfect for scooping up every last bit of that delicious sauce.
Price Point Ponderings:
While the food and service were fantastic, the final bill for three people came to ₹2300. This might feel a bit on the higher side for some, especially considering the portion sizes.
Overall:
Desi Villagio offers a delightful and authentic North Indian dining experience with exceptional service. However, be prepared for a potentially hefty price tag.
Recommendation:
If you're looking for a special occasion restaurant with a charming ambiance, delicious North Indian food, and top-notch service, Desi Villagio is worth considering. Just keep the price point in mind, especially if you're on a tight budget.

Read moreIt is Running at the same place where earlier Desi Vibes of Noida fame. Desi villagio is parody of Desi vibes. How I reached this conclusion let me share my experience of dining on 15/4/23. Difference started to emerge as soon as we entered the restaurant for Lunch. Portion of the place was warm or would say hot as AC was not functioning in that area. Only with the persistent request table in other area was offered even when tables were available and empty without diners. Service people were not very enthusiast to serve. Soup bowls were twice requested to be changed as they were cracked and chipped. It is surprising that when soup bowl was asked to change as it was cracked, they served in another bowl which was chipped. Was not in mood to take soup now but I was told that soup now is billed whether we take it now or not. Food again was disaster. Beer was warm and food was cold. Chicken in butter chicken was like rubber. Paneer in kadhaai paneer was sour. Then we realised that it is not Desi vibes but Desi villagio. Now nothing can be done. Hoping that food will not create digestion problem atleast. When we asked that we are not inclined to pay service charges, the Waiter and Manager in the same language and tone and tenor ( I was atleast expecting some difference in behaviour between the two) tried to convince us with their logic that it is now mandatory to charge and pay service charges as per the High Court Order!!! Service charge is Mandatory as per High court order!
Didn’t want to make my mouth more bad after their logic and idiotic conviction, I immediately paid the bill including mandatory service charges 😂 and hurriedly came out of the restaurant with a vow to always check whether we are dining in an original restaurant or...
