Underdoggs ruined my birthday – Worst Hospitality Ever.
I visited Underdoggs on 18/08/25 with my friends to celebrate my birthday just a simple day out with the bros to catch up and enjoy good food. Instead, the night was completely ruined by the pathetic service and sheer negligence from the staff.
Yes, the food (Laal Maas and Butter Chicken) was good. But no matter how good the kitchen is, when the service is this careless, the whole experience turns into a nightmare.
Here’s everything that went wrong:
The AC was switched off just 10–15 minutes after placing our order, leaving us sweating indoors. When we shifted outside, the tables had no cutlery, and even after repeated requests, nothing came on time. A pizza order was flat-out declined with the excuse that it would take 40–50 minutes – basically telling us not to bother. The worst part after we started eating, we were suddenly told that no additional items could be repeated. This was never mentioned upfront. The servers kept lying and dodging instead of being honest. And then, instead of addressing these issues, they tried to cover up the mess by bribing us with a tiramisu, as if a dessert could make us forget how badly they ruined my birthday.
Our server, Avnesh, was completely unresponsive and uninterested. Krishna tried to step in, but nothing improved. And the so-called service manager, Arjun, was missing in action – zero accountability.
For a brand that boasts about “Ace Hospitality”, what we experienced was the polar opposite. Lazy, dishonest, careless service that showed no respect for customers.
This was my birthday, and Underdoggs managed to turn what should have been a fun celebration into one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. No one expects perfection, but what’s unforgivable is being lied to, ignored, and then insulted with a half-hearted dessert bribe.
Underdoggs if this is your idea of hospitality, then your tagline is...
Read moreUnderdoggs at Aerocity’s Worldmark is a pretty solid spot—great ambience, good food, and an overall chill vibe that makes it worth visiting, especially if you enjoy a lively sports bar atmosphere.
The location is perfect—right at the entry of Worldmark, which makes it easy to spot. Both indoor and outdoor seating options are available, giving you flexibility based on your mood and the weather. The indoor setup is particularly impressive—it nails the global sports bar feel with huge screens, vibrant lighting, and energetic decor that instantly lifts the mood.
Service-wise, it was a bit mixed. The waiters were okay and fairly attentive once seated, but the staff at the entrance who guide you to the table could definitely be more welcoming and courteous. Nothing rude, just a lack of warmth that you’d expect from a place trying to offer a great hospitality experience.
Now onto the food: The Tandoori Platter was a clear winner—perfectly cooked with soft, flavorful kebabs, chaap, and paneer that hit all the right notes. The Tandoori Momos were another highlight—smoky, juicy, and packed with flavor. However, the Mezze Platter needs work. The falafel tasted like it came from a frozen pack, and the hummus was underwhelming—missing that essential tahini richness. The chef could definitely use a little refresher on Mediterranean basics.
Pricing is decent for Aerocity standards, and the overall vibe makes it a great hangout spot—especially during live sports events or match screenings, where the energy would probably be electric.
Would definitely recommend it for a fun evening out with friends, just maybe skip the...
