L'Aqua — Restaurant in Puducherry

Very poor and unhygienic food. Over priced. Poor service.

The staff behaves as though they are doing you a favour.

We ordered "Chef's Special Veg Salad" from the "Christmas and New Year Special Menu".

To my utter shock, they just served a quarter plate filled with sliced raw tomato, onion, cucumber and chilly.

We then called for the manager and chef. They told me that this is the dish and we have to put up with it. I asked them, what is the special thing that the chef did on it? They said - Just too bad and this what they have.

Upset with what was served, we ordered Peri Peri Paneer Tikka.

They just served a half cooked paneer slices. The masala marinade was raw and the dish was not even hot. When we complained about it, they just took it to the kitchen, microwaved it a little and got it back. Same thing. No change. Extremely rude and pathetic service.

They are essentially defrauding...

Ridiculous staff, Chicken was not at all fresh, Drinks were not cold. We were literally getting smoke from kitchen at dining place. Also, the table was next to toilet. So, we asked to change the table.. but they do not entertained. Simply ignored saying.. "no no, we are not getting any smoke". Also, we needed to remind them 3 times to bring the foods. Also, just after finishing our meal.. we came out and then we realised that we should have used the toilet, but the same staff we met and he redirected us to outside of hotel and said use public toilet by paying there. We just paid almost 4k into the restaurant, just 1 min ago and they threw us out and didn't let us use a toilet. Ridiculous. Please go to the 3rd lane from the sea side.. you will get really good restaurants & bar with better service...

Roof top... one of the best time in my life time.. guys, couples, friends must visit place in pondy... great worth of going here... had a lot of good vibes and peace, the cold breaze, atmosphere, staff, drinks, cant explain in words.. so just visit and enjoy the vibes.. go by 7.30pm or before tht for selecting your table or else u will not get tables soon..the view of moon and sea is just so peacefull. Must only visit for ROOF TOP as only tht part is awesome. Price of menu is high but once experience is the best one.. Thank u L'Aqua for the wonderful experience.. will definetly...
