Aroma's Hyderabadi House – A Disappointing Experience When you step into a restaurant, especially for a team lunch, you expect a certain level of service, hospitality, and of course, a good meal. Unfortunately, Aroma's Hyderabadi House fails to deliver on all fronts. Our experience at this establishment was nothing short of frustrating, leaving us regretting our decision to dine there. Lack of Proper Service Despite an Empty Restaurant We arrived at Aroma's Hyderabadi House at precisely 12 PM, excited to enjoy a good meal with our group. To our surprise, the restaurant was completely empty, which led us to believe that we would receive efficient service. However, we soon realized that even with no other diners present, the service was far from acceptable. Unreasonable Delays in Serving Food We placed a simple order consisting of two tandoor items, one vegetarian dish, masala papad, and roti. Given that there was no crowd, we expected our food to arrive in a reasonable amount of time. However, after waiting 45 minutes, our tandoor items had still not been served, despite multiple follow-ups with the staff. We understand that tandoori dishes require time to prepare, but what baffled us was the excessive delay for the vegetarian dish. There was absolutely no explanation from the waiter about why the veg dish took just as long as the tandoor items. If there was a problem, basic courtesy would suggest informing the customers—something Aroma's Hyderabadi House failed to do. Biryani Delays and Poor Coordination As if waiting 45 minutes for appetizers was not frustrating enough, the biryani—something that is supposed to be pre-prepared—took an additional 20-25 minutes to be served. Again, we had to follow up multiple times before finally receiving our order. To add to our distress, we had also ordered one roti for the vegetarians, which only arrived long after they had already started their veg biryani. This forced us to cancel the order, but instead of accommodating our request, the waiter decided to argue with us—an experience that was not only unpleasant but also completely unprofessional. He insisted that we must eat it since we had ordered it, despite the fact that the delay was caused by their poor service. In the end, we asked them to simply add it to the bill, but the unnecessary argument left a bad impression. Pathetic Service and Poor Ambience The service was terrible, plain and simple. The air conditioning was not functioning, which made dining uncomfortable. On top of this, the attitude of the waiters was extremely disappointing—arrogant, inattentive, and unhelpful. It was also clear that the restaurant prioritizes online orders (Swiggy, Zomato) over dine-in customers. Despite being physically present at the restaurant, we were treated like a secondary priority, which is not how a business should operate. Final Verdict – Avoid This Place Aroma’s Hyderabadi House is not worth your time or money. If you’re considering dining there, think twice—especially if you’re planning a team lunch or dinner. The more people you bring, the more chaos and frustration you’ll experience. And finally, to add insult to injury, the biryani itself was subpar—not at all the rich, flavorful experience we had hoped for. Rating: ⭐ (1/5) A terrible dining experience that we will not...

Today being Sunday we had specially planned to have brunch with friends and we had also planned that we will have a different type of biryani this time because we have tried their special chicken BL biryani which is amazing. So this time we ordered fried chicken spicy BL biryani and gulabi chicken kabab in the starters. We received our starter almost after 35 mins by doing followups with the guy who took our order. It was average in taste but we ignored it as we were waiting for our main dish to arrive which never arrived and we had to cancel it after 1 hour of seating over there. Even though today was Sunday still the rush was not that much and only 3-4 tables were occupied. We could clearly see the restaurant was prioritising online orders over physical orders. We had somehow got up from our table and left by cancelling our main dish with a huge disappointment. The owner didn't even apologise for the delay in service and handed us a new bill in which the charges for the main course were removed. A simple empathy towards your regular customer can win a lot of future customers but i think such restaurants are failing to understand this. Anyways, they have lost their regular customers today as not just me but my other friends have also decided not to go there ever. I hope the restaurant team takes this feedback in good manners and works on improving things to not lose their...

We visited this restaurant for a team outing after office hours, and it was a decent experience overall. The first thing I noticed was the ample two-wheeler parking, which was convenient. Inside, the place had a nice vibe with plenty of decorations that made it feel lively and welcoming. We started with two appetizers, and they were the highlight of the meal—hot, spicy, and flavorful, with portions large enough for our group of six. For the main course, we ordered family-sized Hyderabadi Biryani and Chicken Tikka Biryani. While the Chicken Tikka Biryani was flavorful and enjoyable, the Hyderabadi Biryani was a bit dry and had only two leg pieces, which felt underwhelming, especially considering the price. Also, the portion sizes for a family dish seemed a bit small. Although I loved the lime water that we got it was a nice addition to the entire meal. The food here is quite spicy, so keep that in mind if you prefer milder flavors. Overall, it’s a nice spot to visit, especially for the atmosphere and starters, but the biryani could have been better. Give it a try and see for yourself!

Aromas Hyderabad House in Viman Nagar is an excellent choice for anyone wishing to indulge in rich, flavourful Hyderabadi cuisine. We began our meal with the Rambo Chicken, which proved to be a great appetiser. The chicken was properly cooked, juicy and tender, with a well-balanced spice blend that provided a bold yet pleasing kick. It was crispy on the exterior and flavourful within, making it an excellent way to start the dinner. We had Aroma's Special Chicken Biryani for our main meal, and it was delicious. The biryani had aromatic, long-grain rice laced with the ideal blend of Hyderabadi spices, stacked elegantly with delicate, well-marinated chicken pieces. Each bite embodied the essence of slow-cooked goodness, with the perfect combination of spice and scent. The portion size was generous, making it ideal for sharing. The overall experience was positive, with timely service and a friendly atmosphere. Aromas Hyderabad House is a must-visit for those who enjoy rich, authentic biryanis and flavourful starters!
