Anardana is a culinary gem that perfectly blends modernity with traditional Indian flavors, creating a unique and exciting dining experience. As soon as you step inside, you're transported to a world of Desi modern vibes, with plush interiors adorned with classic posters of retro Bollywood. The ambiance is vibrant and Instagram-worthy, setting the tone for a fantastic meal. The menu at Anardana is a masterful twist on traditional Indian street food, with innovative dishes that will tantalize your taste buds. The Quinoa Golgappa is a game-changer, adding a nutritious and modern spin to the classic chaat. The Purani Dilli ki Papdi Chaat is a refreshing and lighter take on the roadside snack, perfect for those looking for a guilt-free indulgence. The Vegetarian Kebab Platter is a standout dish, with a perfect blend of flavors and spices that will leave you wanting more. The melt-in-your-mouth texture is impressive, and the flavors are so rich and deep that you won't miss the meat. It's a testament to the culinary expertise of Anardana's chefs. But the real showstopper is the Kunafa Nest, a sweet treat that's sure to steal your heart. With its crispy, flaky pastry and creamy filling, it's a dessert that's both familiar and innovative. Overall, Anardana is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience. With its aesthetic ambiance, great hospitality, and vibrant play of flavors, it's a place that will leave you feeling satisfied and eager to return. So come and experience Anardana for yourself – your taste buds will thank you!

This was our first visit to this restaurant and we stumbled across it by coincidence - best thing that could happen for our dinner plans! First of all, we had no reservation, however the man at the entrance was very friendly and told us to wait 10 mins so they could finish another table and prepare it for us. On the minute, we got our table and inside the restaurant, you could feel India in every corner! The decorations and interior of the restaurant is authentic, but not over the top so that you feel welcomed and get a glimpse of the Indian restaurant culture. As we didn’t know what to expect, not to eat, we studied the menu. Our waiter for the evening, Mukesh, was the highlight of this experience. He took the time and explained to us any dish we wanted to check and try out, he asked about our level of spiciness and gave us recommendations for the cocktails. Furthermore, he talked to the chef about our choice of food to make sure that we could handle this. He was always reachable, polite, friendly and also told us about some specialties from different parts of India, including some chat about our travel plans and our experience in India so far! We even got some recommendations for cocktails as we weren’t sure which ones to take according to our preferences. Overall, it was one of the best (food) experiences we had and we would recommend it to everyone! We will definitely be back and try out the rest of the menu! Thanks again to our waiter Mukesh for making this evening extra special and once more, dhnyebad 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Anardana, nestled in the heart of Delhi, offers a mixed dining experience deserving of a 3-star rating. With its cozy ambiance and eclectic menu, the restaurant aims to please a wide range of palates, but falls short in certain areas. The restaurant's decor exudes a welcoming charm, with rustic touches and warm lighting creating a relaxed atmosphere. However, occasional inconsistencies in service detract from the overall dining experience. While some staff members are attentive and friendly, others may seem disinterested or overwhelmed during peak hours. Anardana's menu showcases a variety of Indian and fusion dishes, promising bold flavors and innovative combinations. While some dishes shine with their creative flair and impeccable execution, others may lack the finesse expected at this level of dining. The flavors of certain dishes may also vary from visit to visit, leaving diners unsure of what to expect. Despite its shortcomings, Anardana does have its highlights. The restaurant's signature dishes, such as the butter chicken and paneer tikka, are flavorful and satisfying. Additionally, the restaurant's commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients is commendable. In conclusion, while Anardana has the potential to be a standout dining destination, it falls short of expectations in certain areas. With improvements in consistency and service, it could easily elevate its rating and become a go-to spot for Indian cuisine enthusiasts in Delhi.

Anardana Saket - A haven for modern Indian cuisine enthusiasts

As I stepped into Anardana restaurant at DLF Avenue Mall in Saket, Delhi, I was immediately captivated by the blend of modern Indian aesthetics and classic sophistication. The warm ambiance and inviting atmosphere set the stage for what promised to be an unforgettable dining experience.

The dazzling lights and the aroma of exquisite spices signaled the arrival of Anardana, the beacon of modern Indian cuisine. Having heard rave reviews about Anardana's molecular gastronomy and innovative food presentation, I was eager to indulge in their modern Indian cuisine. As I perused the menu, I was intrigued by the fusion of traditional Indian flavors with contemporary twists, offering a tantalizing culinary journey unlike any other.

The restaurant is Anardana's flagship in Delhi, following successful ventures in Gurugram, RK Puram, Chandigarh, and Karkardooma. This strategic location marks a new phase in Anardana's journey, bringing its exceptional dining experience closer to the residents of Delhi.

From the Palak & Kale Chaat ver 2.0 to the Butter Chicken Fondue and Ricotta Dahi Ke Kebab, each dish was a work of art, meticulously crafted to delight the senses. The fusion of South Indian and Italian influences in dishes like the Chettinad Chicken Pizza showcased the creativity and ingenuity of the culinary team.

One standout feature of Anardana is "Aikyam", an exquisite art installation that adds to the restaurant's ambiance, creating a welcoming and immersive dining environment. It's clear that every detail, from the menu selection to the interior design, has been carefully curated to ensure a memorable dining experience.

Behind the scenes, the visionary leadership of Dr. Shruti Malik, the pioneering founder of Anardana, and the creative genius of Chef Gaurav Raghuvanshi, the culinary head, drive the restaurant's commitment to excellence and innovation. Together with Chef Amitabh, the corporate chef, and the dedicated kitchen team, they bring Anardana's culinary vision to life, delivering exceptional taste and presentation with every dish.

Anardana is not just a restaurant; it's a dream realized through a passion for elevating dining experiences. The vision is clear – to be the preferred choice for friends, families, and tourists, aiming for the highest rating in the Indian food industry with a relentless focus on customer satisfaction.

As I savored each bite and soaked in the ambiance of Anardana, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to experience such culinary excellence. Anardana at DLF Avenue Saket truly lives up to its reputation as a haven for modern Indian cuisine enthusiasts, where every dish tells a story, and every visit guarantees an unforgettable experience. I can't wait to return and indulge in more of Anardana's...

I had been eagerly anticipating a meal at Anardana for quite some time, especially as an individual with gluten sensitivities. Indian restaurants are typically a reliable choice, offering naturally gluten-free options like dals, curries, and grilled meats with rice. However, my experience at Anardana was unfortunately marred by confusion and inconsistency regarding their gluten-free offerings.

Even before being seated, I was informed that only a yellow dal and rice could be made gluten-free. This was immediately contradicted by a manager, who assured me that their tandoori/grilled meats were also safe. However, when it came time to order, the server insisted otherwise, leading to a frustrating back-and-forth. Only after multiple requests did they finally check with the chef, who confirmed the manager's statement that the grills were indeed gluten-free.

This initial confusion created an unwelcoming atmosphere and significantly dampened my enthusiasm. While the food itself was undeniably tasty, it was disappointing to discover that only two of their non-vegetarian starters were available as gluten-free options. In a city with numerous Indian restaurants, many of which are far more accommodating to dietary restrictions, with a number of tandoori and grilled meats and curries like dal makhani and butter chicken being gluten free, Anardana's limited gluten-free menu felt restrictive and exclusionary.

Furthermore, the conflicting information from the staff made it incredibly difficult to trust the restaurant and their service. The uncertainty left me waiting and wondering whether I would end up having a reaction, adding unnecessary stress to what should have been an enjoyable meal.

I sincerely hope that Anardana takes steps to improve their staff training and menu clarity regarding allergens. Implementing a more inclusive menu would not only enhance the dining experience for those with dietary restrictions but also ensure that all patrons feel welcomed and valued. While the food was good, the lack of clear information, the limited options, and the serious concerns about cross-contamination made the overall experience...

Restaurant Review: Anardana, DLF Avenue Saket (8th August 2024)

I recently dined at Anardana in DLF Avenue Saket on the occasion of my daughter’s birthday, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. We arrived with high expectations given the restaurant’s reputation, but what unfolded was nothing short of a culinary disaster.

Food Quality:

The food served was, frankly, appalling. Each dish was drowning in an excessive amount of oil, making it not only heavy and difficult to digest but also unpalatable. The dishes we ordered were overwhelmingly acidic, with an unpleasant sharpness that overpowered any potential flavors. The taste and quality of the food were no better than that of a poorly managed roadside dhaba—an incredibly disappointing realization given the setting and the prices.

Health Concerns:

I pointed the bad quality of Chicken Changezi within minutes of first bite. The consequences of the substandard food were felt long after we left the restaurant. Both my children and I suffered from severe food poisoning vomits the same night, a clear indication that the food was not prepared with the necessary care or hygiene standards. We are still suffering the bad stomach and with that suffering I am compelled to write this review.

What was meant to be a special celebration turned into a nightmarish ordeal, as we had to deal with the aftereffects of consuming such poorly prepared food.

Overall Experience:

Given the premium location and the ambiance of the restaurant, one would expect a dining experience that justifies the cost and the occasion. Unfortunately, Anardana failed miserably on all fronts. The service was unremarkable, but the real issue was the food—something that should be the highlight of any dining experience. Instead, it was the cause of significant discomfort and disappointment.

I would strongly advise others to reconsider before choosing to dine at Anardana, DLF Avenue Saket. The experience was not only a waste of money but also a serious health...
