Discovering Bira 91 Taproom - Saket: A Festive Experience at Free Flow Fest
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Bira 91 Taproom in Saket, and let me tell you, it was a memorable experience! With the Free Flow Fest in full swing, this celebration of Dussehra and Oktoberfest promised not just great beer, but an all-around vibrant atmosphere. I was particularly excited to try the two new brews they introduced, both crafted specifically for the festive season.
As I walked into the taproom, the energy was palpable. The lively music and friendly faces created the perfect backdrop for what was about to be a flavorful adventure. I headed straight for the bar to get my hands on the two new releases: the F* F* Fest Lager and the Hefeweizen.
F* F* Fest Lager: A MƤrzen Delight
First up was the F* F* Fest Lager, a MƤrzen-style beer that instantly caught my attention with its rich, amber hue. With an ABV of 4.5% and an IBU of 18, this brew brought the main character energy that the festival promised. The taste was a perfect balance of nutty malts and refreshing pine aromas. Each sip felt like a warm embrace, making it an ideal companion for the cozy Diwali vibes around the corner. I could genuinely see why this beer was made for festive gatherings.
Hefeweizen: A Bavarian Daydream
Next, I dove into the Hefeweizen, a classic German-style wheat beer. At 4.7% ABV and an IBU of 10, this unfiltered gem was a creamy, smooth delight. The flavors of clove and banana danced on my palate, evoking images of sunlit Bavarian beer gardens. Each sip was a dreamy escape, and I found myself wishing I could enjoy this refreshing brew every day.
More Than Just Beer
What made the experience even better was the engaging atmosphere. Bira 91 has truly created a community around their brews, and the Free Flow Fest showcased this beautifully. From beer-and-food pairings featuring Oktoberfest-inspired dishes to expert-led beer-tasting sessions, there was no shortage of ways to immerse oneself in the festive spirit.
Ankur Jain, the CEO of Bira 91, expressed his excitement about the festival and the new brews. He highlighted the commitment to creating engaging experiences for consumers, emphasizing that the festival was not just about drinking beer but celebrating culture and community.
As the evening rolled on, I found myself tapping my feet to live performances by artists like The F16s and Raman Negi, adding another layer of excitement to the atmosphere. It was a night filled with laughter, good music, and even better beer.
Final Thoughts If youāre in Delhi, I highly recommend checking out the Bira 91 Taproom during the Free Flow Fest. Itās not just about trying new beers; itās about celebrating the festive spirit with friends, music, and culture. So grab a pint of the F* F* Fest Lager or the Hefeweizen, and immerse yourself in the world of Bira 91. Cheers to good times and...

I literally sat in my seat for 20 plus minutes while I watched others around me having their orders taken and being served. The manager should be fired and not allowed to manage or work in any restaurant again during his life time, because he and his staff were very unprofessional (I hold him šÆ percent accountable) The manager nor his staff ever approached me to ask if I was ready to order or if I needed a few more minutes. Eventually I gave up with the nonsense and walked out of the restaurant. Youāre better off going down stairs to Chiliās (I walked in they immediately greeted me brought me water and took my order). I was in and out of Chiliās in less than 15 minutes. DO NOT EAT AT BIRA 91...
