Food: Bada Nachos - Their signature dish with big nachos stacked and aligned up on a single plate, dripping with cheese sauce and veggies; easily fills 2-3 tummies. Saucy, crunchy and was just okay for a starter . American corn cheese balls - Deep fried balls oozing with cheese; saturated with the crispy bread crumbs and had decent flavors across . Tandoori Paneer tikka - When it comes to Paneer, these people cook it the best way, hands down!! With the pickled veggies, this tikka came across as one of the show stealers . Bombay double decker sandwich - A multi-layered sandwich with their authentic green chutney; spicy, sour from the sauces and was tummy filling . Penne arrabiata - Spicy penne pasta with red chilli peppers and tomato sauce; the pasta was cooked well and the sourness was evident all across, still good . Veg biryani - Typical biryani with wholesome veggies; mild-spiced but was still palatable. For that price, the quantity should have been better . Half & Half pizza - Indian achari and Herb grilled pizza; While the former was spicy with authentic Indian spices, the latter was healthy with much of oregano and basil flavor to it. The thin Italian crust aided well for the oozing cheese

Ambience/Price: One of the coolest veg-only places (with Jain options) which has good valet parking facility and decent seating space. The service was prompt and quick but when it comes to serenity, this place might not be it. Also, the Quantity: Price ratio took a hit since the prices were exorbitant; almost all the dishes were tagged the similar rate. Though the food quality was good, pricing...

I used to visit sometimes during 2013-2019, and then since pandemic, this is my first visit in the year ‘24 and the interiors and renovation it is completely refurbished and kept as cream centre veg bistro and branding has also transformed from typical orange to current black logo.

Coming to food, the quantity has been reduced since after pandemic and taste of some dishes also has been changed, firstly tried the worlds best nachos, they are basically in house nachos with melted cheese sauce on top served with salsa, the nachos taste has been slightly changed and even the cheese sauce had bitter after taste in every bite, could have been better, how it was before the pandemic, next starter was oven cheese baked garlic roll, visually, it doesn’t look like roll, it is basically a bread, with simple melted cheese on top, it was fair but not such a great wow factor, then the fit and healthy chaat, it was good, it had sweet potatoes, channa and sprouts, it is good, if required for health conscious people and to try something light and fresh, then the New York New York pizza, this was great, perfectly thin crispy crust with generous toppings of vegetables and cheese, must try and lastly the mint ice cream soda, the combination of vanilla ice cream and mint flavoured soda, that’s their specialty, recommended and must try beverage.

The pricing is quiet typically steep high in cream centre, be specific to try such as Italian, continental and desserts, others...

We had dinner at CC on College Road on Saturday evening. Infact we (booked and) went to Eden at Harrison Hotel at 7 pm, but it was closed n dark and no one to answer. Quickly we took a U turn and reached Cream Center. After 8 or 9 months of gap, we had our food outside. So...we went there without reservation. Three of us. Yet they have accommodated us. But around 8 30 pm, when we were coming out, another 4 or 5 families were waiting for the table. We had sweetcorn vegetable soup and original panneer as starters. Then we tried all kinds of Indian breads (butter nan, roti, paratha etc) with aloo mutter and multiple vegetables as side dishes. Big carrot pieces in vinegar was complimentary and it was very tasty. We didn't take any rice item or dessert, but closed it with fresh lime soda. We were in a dilemma to have a sizzling brownie, which is very good at CC, but as we were full we didn't. They also gave a sealed one litre bottle of Vedika Bisleri water bottle free, which is natural and tasted like well water, I liked it's natural taste. Car park is there, valet parking is available. It's a wonderful place to spend with your family on evenings of this winter times. Good...

It all started when wanted to visit the refurbished Cream Centre at Nungabakkam. As we entered we could see some changes done to the interiors which was good. Started our dinner with Spring Vegetables soup as suggested by the house. It was just fabulous. Never knew well diced paneer could form a part of soup. It did. It was time for the usual American corn cheese balls. Was good, but it was not hot enough. The Oven roasted Cheesy garlic roll was indeed nice. For a change we ordered Dahi Bhatata Puri which truly had a typical northie touch, which was nice. The Italian baked sizzler we had, was worth waiting for. And it also had a Cheese Ball which we already had. So it was time for Penne Al forno. The taste lingers on. This had a Garlic roll which we already had. One should try this. A suggestion to the restaurant-Time restaurant accepted minor customisations to the plate (we were not able to make minor changes like substituting noodles to rice etc) We did top it off with strawberry iced tea. This place is one of the good Vegetarian joints in Chennai and happy to see it back. For the vegetarian lovers, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Very Good Vegetarian restaurant.... Foods are of very high & good quality, which obviously makes a little burden on the purse due to its cost. Good dining place with family & friends. The sizzlers they provide are awesome. Few foods like one of the cheesy pasta we ordered, they served it readily to us, hot hot..... Rightly so, in few mins it became like dry, but remain yummy. This vegetarian place is completely different from the regular or high class vegetarian hotels in Chennai, & costly too. Initially, we total 6 members, started with the soups, very nice they were. Then few starters & we moved on to main dishes. All the food that we ordered, we shared it with each other. All had good taste of the varieties they provide. Paneer foods were too soft to melt in mouth. I have never felt this much heavy after eating a vegetarian food. I only used to feel heavy after a Biriyani or Chettinad meals which are non-veg. Based on our bill, I guess, average Rs.700/- per person is the right calculation. To conclude, if pure vegetarian taste is what you are looking for and not bothered by money, then go here for sure.
