My husband and I had been looking forward to eating here for weeks. However, after the way that we were treated today, we will never return to this venue again. When we arrived, there were only 3 parties seated, and all were occupying the tables prized for their sea view by the windows on the second floor. Half the point of eating here is the view, so we asked the staff if we could wait for one of those tables to open up. There were no other customers in the restaurant, so the staff said we could. We happily waited close to one hour. We weren't in a rush and were just hoping to enjoy our afternoon by the shore. However, by the time that one of the tables opened up, the restaurant was a bit more crowded. Imagine our annoyance when, instead of seating us at one of the tables that the wait staff had promised us, the wait staff instead seated a group of tourists there that had entered the restaurant 50 minutes after us. We brought this to the attention of the manager, and instead of offering a solution, he literally WALKED AWAY from us without so much as verbalizing a response. After experiencing the manager's contemptuous attitude, it was clear that our patronage was not desired. So, we left and went to the Searock Restaurant next door and had an amazing meal.

In the age of COVID-19, it's remarkable that there are still restaurants that don't see the value of treating their clientele with respect. We live in Chennai and would have regularly visited this restaurant if they had respected us. Not only did they lose our money today, but they have also lost all the money that we would have spent there on future visits. And I hope that anyone reading this review will think twice before spending their hard-earned money at this...

The best place to spend time with ur friends in weekends with a beach view spot in mahabs.

Starting with the restaurant atmosphere - the interior of the restaurant is not bad but the view of the beach from this place is very good from this place.

Coming to the foods - we had tawa fish fry , tiger prawns, chilly beef , squid with fries , masala prawn and crab with scrambled eggs

Tawa fish fry - the fish tasted good but I felt like it's slightly over cooked

Tiger prawns - it was the best 😍 the taste and size of the prawn was really good and delicious.

Chilly beef - it was spicy and juicy the beef was well cooked and soft.

Squid with fires - I didn't really don't like taste of this dish I felt like the squid tasted a bit raw so the taste wasn't good .

Masala prawn - the prawns were spicy and yummy , the prawns they used was fresh and was well cooked , the masala they used was nicely blended with the prawn so it tasted good

Crab with scrambled eggs - I'm first time tasting crab in this different way , the flesh of the crabs are with with scrambled eggs and was cooked well , it tasted good but the thing I felt is , it was blunt it couldn't have been a bit spicy

The overall experience was good.

This place also serves alcohol.

I'll like to give only 3/5 bcoz of the interiors and the rate...I felt like all the dishes were a bit over rated... But this place is a must try place with ur friends in ur weekend.
