I would have rated it high but suddenly I noticed that both daal and mixed veg had same colour and that is not the natural colour of the dish (I had the breakfast at the place earlier in the day and had noticed that aloo sabji that came with the Puri had the same colour.). It is POISON....it is NOT food colouring. After repeated complaint and to get just the boiled daal he confessed that he won't put it next time (as most people like to eat fancy looking (read as coloured) food. But there is not going to be a next time. Avoid it like...

Made a day trip to Sarnath.

Was looking for a pure-veg restaurant with simple and homely food.

Found Nandani Restaurant and ordered dal fry and aloo jeera with tawa roti.

Food was tasty and quantity was good. Seating and ambience is very simple.

Prices were also very reasonable.

It did not disappoint....
