Rush hours can mean waiting for tables or sharing tables. I had the chicken momos which I think were really good. Online payments accepted but the lady on the counter insisted on cash 🤷‍♂️so I paid cash. Great option If one is shopping at chowk bazar and feel hungry.

Most famous shop in Darjeeling for momos. Search in youtube 'Kalika Restaurant Darjeeling' for detailed review from 'travel 4Life. Taste is very good but not super awesome but best in Darjeeling. Economical as well. Closes at 6pm. In crowded Chawk bazar. Mostly have to walk or reach by two wheeler only. 1.3km from chowrasta. Need to go down on hills and if want to come chowrasta then need to climb road. 800m...

Always crowded, means fresh food. Purely vegetarian food. For non veg, there is a non veg kalika at another location. The space is very congested. Its a place to eat and move, not to stay and enjoy eating. Service is responsive. The food is okayish, does the job, not the tastiest. Overall a good...
