Annapurna restaurant KOVE COIMBATORE Headline: Prepare Your Taste Buds for a Vegetarian Revelation at Kove, Coimbatore! Wow, just wow! My recent visit to Kove in Coimbatore was nothing short of a culinary adventure for a vegetarian like me. If you think vegetarian food can be boring, Kove is here to absolutely shatter that notion. This isn't just a meal; it's an exploration of incredible flavors and textures that will leave you utterly satisfied and craving more. From the moment the mention a specific appetizer with more descriptive language, e.g., "Vazhapoo Paneer Kola Urundai arrived, beautifully presented and offering a delightful dance of subtle spices and a wonderfully unique texture – a true testament to innovative vegetarian cooking", I knew I was in for something special. And I wasn't wrong! The mention another appetizer, e.g., "Parmesan Malai Broccoli Kebab was an absolute revelation! The creamy malai coating with the slight bite of broccoli, finished with that distinct Parmesan flavor – a brilliant fusion of tastes". For the main course, the mention a main course with vivid description, e.g., "Kove Millet Biriyani was an absolute star! The fragrance alone was intoxicating, and the use of millet added a lovely nutty undertone to the perfectly spiced vegetables. Each bite was a harmonious blend of aromas and flavors – a truly comforting yet exciting dish". And let's not forget the simple perfection of their mention a bread, e.g., "Tandoori Roti, served warm and with that beautiful smoky char, was the ideal accompaniment to soak up every last bit of flavor". And oh, the dessert! The mention the dessert with enthusiastic detail, e.g., "Baked Anjeer Halwa with French Vanilla Ice Cream was the perfect sweet ending. The rich, warm fig halwa paired with the cool, smooth vanilla ice cream was a delightful contrast that made my taste buds sing!". Kove isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience. The attention to detail in each dish, the innovative combinations, and the sheer deliciousness of everything I tried have made it a top contender for the best vegetarian dining in Coimbatore, if not beyond! If you're a vegetarian visiting or living in Coimbatore, or even if you're not, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a meal at Kove. You won't regret it – your taste buds will thank you!

Read moreI really don’t know if this brand cares about their google reviews or customer feedback but my experience was so humiliating that I am so motivated to write the review.
For a background Annapoorna RS Puram is one of our family’s favourite restaurants. In fact I even stay at their hotel Ikon whenever I travel here. But off late (past few years) we mostly have unpleasant service experiences here. Waiters behave like we are here to eat for free. So we stopped visiting the restaurant. Recently I really persuaded my family (parents and husband) to eat here and thought we will do it for old times sake. They agreed hesitantly.
We got a table quickly, ate a nice early lunch, everything was perfect… until, we got the bill, my husband asked for gpay and they said we only have to go to the billing counter and pay. So he went to the counter, paid via gpay, came back to the table, left the bill on the table for our waiter to see, left a tip and were just getting out while the person in the cash counter - Mr Perumal, I understand - started to shout at us asking if we paid. Me and my parents were a little shocked and couldn’t understand if he was actually calling out to us. But turns out he has no shame in shouting at his customers like this. While my husband told him that he has paid and left the bill on the table. He again shouted at us and and asked my husband to show his gpay for proof, which he did. My father, being a very old customer to this place politely asked him if he does not trust us. He again shouted with a big “No”. We left the place really embarrassed and decided never to visit here as a family again. I still stay at the Ikon and sometimes do come to the restaurant and still feels really bad each time I come back.
Our waiter was Mr Murali. He or none of the other waiters who were having a good laugh at the show and did not come to clarify that we have paid.
So here’s the thing: Annapoorna is a very authentic restaurant chain in Coimbatore, but come here if you are ready to be embarrassed by the waiters of this place.
My two cents:
The whole incident occurred because they do not have a proper billing system in place. The waiter who served for us (Mr Murali) had actually informed the guy who shouted at us that we have not paid and was also laughing while Mr Perumal was yelling at us.
Man the audacity of restaurants to treat customers like this
So now I have understood they not only have a proper system in place, but also have no understanding of how to resolve a confusion politely with their customers.
There are many good waiters in this place. But one isolated incident is a sufficient proof for the overall staff training and quality of this place.
If you are coming to Annapoorna, all the best to you! I would never bring any guest here anymore!
Annapoorna is no more the Pride...
Read moreSree annapoorna RS Puram has a restaurant in first floor, lodging in each floor and top floor has hall. I had experience of all the facilities of RS Puram annapoorna. First I will start with Annapoorna Restaurant, You will have two restaurants one is non AC and another in 2nd floor centralised AC. The taste is really good and the standard is maintained really well. If you are going to try Annapoorna restaurant try this branch because this is the main branch and which was start of annapoorna. The annapoorna is famous for its sambar and not using of oil more items to cook oil items. But I don't know now what they are doing. They also provide a wide variety of items and north indian dishes are best in this branch compared to other branches. There is lift Available in the ground floor so no problem for old-age people. The road is very crampt and it will be difficult to go into road when there are opposite vehicles. The parking of annapoorna is available opposite and approximately occupies 10-15 cars. In evening u will have problem in car parking. Second is room, The room have good maintenance and has good quality of bedsheets and others. They charge approximately 1500-3000 for rooms based on bed. If u want a extra bed they will provide it and extra bed will be a foldable bed in which you don't want to sleep in ground and that I like it. Big sized rooms will have a small hall in the room then inside will be a bedroom. Rooms have good quality and will not disappoint you. Third Hall, We booked the hall at 5th floor (not sure). There are two halls and one is near AC restaurant and another is above all rooms. The Hall near AC restaurant is small and can occupy upto 100-120 people which is good for a small function. The hall we choose was the big hall at the top floor and this hall is really wide and can approximately occupy 200-250 people. The big hall also has a seperate dinning portions and attached restrooms. They also provide two rooms near the stage. The small has only small room and restroom is available outside the hall. The hand wash in small hall is outside the hall. One of the best Vegeterian hotels in coimbatore. After you booked the hall try to have the organiser number because the problems with be easily solved by them. We had a decent experience in the halls and not big problems occured. The big hall decorations were good and stage is really wide and can occupy 20-40...
