Had lunch with friends - the dishes we ordered were good- the hot & spicy crispers which are potatoes were very good as well as the Bang Bang shrimp. The tenderloin steak was good and the cilantro fish dish. The classic New Zealand Lamb chops were good- however butter knives don't cut a steak or lamb chops. The restaurant did not have steak knives making it a challenge to enjoy the chops. The waiters need to be trained to provide the chef with all of the main dishes ordered to be served at the same time. We had the fish dish served first and almost 10 minutes later some of the other mains were served - Getting to the restaurant was challenging as well. The restaurant name is at the level of the restaurant which is on the second floor - so when driving in, it is difficult to see the sign so.high- would be good if some sign is placed at the lower level to guide customers. Coming up the stairs, the signs at each level pointing to the next was good until we came to the last set of stairs- the signs were misleading with arrows pointing to the locked empty space instead of up, indicating one more set of stairs to go to reach the restaurant! This restaurant is geared to the young and those with strong legs to climb the stairs! Too bad since many of the older generation would actually be good customers having travelled and lived outside India with a love for cross...

-Found hair in risotto... Photos attached and waitress was reported... She took photo, She acknowledged and She said she will get back.. But I was waiting for more than 39 minutes... Only the bill was presented. The Nashville was soggy with oil... Both the starters were having same dip.. The dishes were not explained. -Water melon salad was well presented with lip smoking Coriander and balsamic combo... -The price of salmon was marked with black marker.. no price was displayed, the portion was decent. -Salmon was fully covered with sauce that was salty complimented with salty mash potatoes... -Tenderloin was warm, tough and red wine sauce and mash again salty... -Dessert was well presented I was told by Peter no manager is there -At the end after long waiting...The response the waitress gave at the end was ... You should have told me and I would have replaced it..... I told to Peter about this and I told him I should have reported to the local government health authorities and the media.. I was told pradeep apparently one of the owners was there by the waitress and Peter said he is not there..... They offered me to write off the dish from the bill but I insisted that I pay the whole bill and on the whole humiliation unlimited....

My family and I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Britain to Bombay! From the unique fusion dishes to the retro-chic ambience, everything was top-notch. We started with the Italian Quesadillas—wrapped in a soft tortilla and served with creamy sour cream and salsa. The Tex-Mex Skewers were grilled to perfection, packed with flavour and just the right amount of smokiness. The spice level was mild and the dip was good. For the mains, the Grill Chicken Risotto was out of this world—creamy, rich, perfectly seasoned and really tasty. The thin-crust pizza was crispy and delicious, and while the Lasagna was tasty, it could have been served hotter. The highlight, however, was the Biscoff Cheesecake—so good that we ordered an extra one to take home! The retro 50’s music and vibe added such a fun, nostalgic touch to our meal. A special shout-out to Ms. Grace for her outstanding service—attentive, warm, and truly made our evening memorable. Despite the minor hiccup with the lasagna, Britain to Bombay delivered an exceptional dining experience. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend! 🍴💛
