Full marks for variety, innovation and taste. It has nice ambience, all closed seating though. They get full so, we made a reservation beforehand as it was a weekend. Their menu is quite elaborate with multi cuisine items. So, a lot of options to choose from. They also keep changing their menu. Edit: went recently and tried chettinad pala cutlet (damn good) and dahi k kebab (not great). Had assorted momos (ok), sautéed tofu (very nice) and galouti kebab ( good). Yakimeshi for main course, which was quite good but portion size was less. Soya chaap gravy (not good). Also had soy keema stuffed kulcha which hardly had any stuffing. Drinks - they have brought the traditional homegrown drinks/cocktails infused with herbs that was decent. Tried one with foam and salt (not bad, better than all sugary ones), aphrodisiac and flying scotsman were good, and spicy margarita average. Service was a bit slow. Overall, still one of the best in Coimbatore. Go for south indian, asian food and drinks. STARTERS (There were four of us) we ordered galouti kabab (which is very soft and melts in your mouth, not too spicy either), cream cheese rangoon ( like a springrill with cheese), stir fried paneer ( it was like Schezwan paneer stir fried, which was quite good) and chef's pulled bao (which was filled with honey chilly potato 🙄). Chef's bao was a disappointment. Others were good. MAIN COURSE we ordered chettinad soy keema with cheese stuffed naan and tandoori roti (gravy tastes better with just tandoori roti) and Thai green curry (which came with rice). It was good, soy keema more than the thai curry DRINKS I found their drinks menu priced very reasonably from other counterparts in Coimbatore. They had a good range of cocktails. They didn't have any beer than kingfisher select so, ordered that. For cocktails ordered Mardi gras (which was quite refreshing) and jalapeno mojito (which was pretty good). Mojito was a delight as it was perfectly made and came in a jumbo glass. Overall, it was a nice experience.

People say vegetarian dishes lack the variety, flavours and depth when compared to non vegetarian dishes. I used to be one of them. Well I stand pleasantly corrected. The food here at Kove was just muah! Now let's just dive into the review without further ado, Soup - 1. Tom Kha Phak 2. Poosini Charu Both of the soups were made absolutely well. The poosini Charu is a more traditional south indian thin soup, the flavours were on spot and it sates the soul. But I would suggest you try the poosini Charu first and then move on to Tom Kha Phak. Because it was a showstopper! The mild yet flavourfull soup based on coconut milk was out of world. It has a lot plethora of veggies in there. You would think all those vegetables would be mix mash of flavours but No! A big fat No! The flavours of each vegetable is kept and they compliment one another perfectly! Starters- 1. Assorted Dim Sum 2. Chettinad Pala Cutlet 3. Vazhapoo Paneer Kola Urundai 4. Lotus Stem with black bean sauce Now I'm not gonna go into detail on each and every single one of these amazing dishes. Trust me! I absolutely had a very hard time choosing and nitpicking. But among those I personally loved the lotus Stem because it spoke to the spice lover in me and my partner enjoyed her Chettinad Pala Cutlet the most. Though I must say a non vegetarian would not be able to differentiate the Pala Cutlet from a chicken cutlet at all. It was truly that good. Main Course- 1. Thai Green curry 2. Yaki Udon By the time, we got to the main course we were stuffed and I honestly thought we'd have to ask the staff to wrap things up to go. But we started off with just a slight taste check and the next thing we knew we finished the whole plate. The green curry was creamy, mild, sweet and wonderfully balanced. Dessert- 1. Orange Lime Posset 2. Bailey's Tiramisu Leaving kove without trying the dessert would be an absolute crime. Especially, the Posset it was just exemplary. My rating, Food - 5/5 Service - 4.4/5 Ambience - 4/5

It was amazing. Finely curated menu. They had used the not so common vegetables to craft their menu. They have everything from Indian to pan-asian to Italian cuisine. We tried the Indian starters and then enjoyed the pan-asian cuisine. I wanted to get pizza but the dough was over. They did come back saying the dough was ready but we had ordered other dishes by then. We ordered the vazhapu cutlets (made from flower of the banana tree), citrus watermelon salad (dressing was a little overpowering for the fruits) and another started which was delicious. We also got some mix dumplings. I got to try the mushroom one which was yummy. My husband said the paneer one was great. It came with 4 sauces. The spicy chilli and the garlic one were my favourite. For main course we ordered Thai basil fried rice. It was very flavourful! We also got the Thai curry which was perfect. The vegetables had its crunch and the sauce had a great balance of coconut milk and spice. The Jasmine rice was well cooked; sticky but not too sticky. We got the waterchesnut which was my favourite and first time my family trying it. It had the perfect crunch to it while emboding the sauces. The fan favourite was baby corn pepper. With the crunchy little onions it was delicious. We had a couple of mocktails flowing through dinner. The orange drink was more like gold spot. The guava mocktail was the best. I order another mango passion fruit one which was great too. We ended the meal with the lotus cheesecake. It was airy and light. The crust was crunchy with the right amount of butter in it so it crumbled in your mouth. As you can see we were stuffed after this. Will surely go back when we visit coimbatore again

Visit 1: (a year and half back)

If you are looking for an exquisite dining experience, look no further than this fine dining restaurant. From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted with impeccable service and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The decor is elegant and sophisticated, with attention to every detail.

The menu features a selection of dishes crafted from the freshest ingredients, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Each dish is carefully prepared by a team of talented chefs who take pride in their culinary skills.

The service is top-notch, with attentive waitstaff who anticipate your every need. Whether you need a recommendation on what to order or a refill on your drink, they are always ready to assist. The pacing of the meal is well-timed, allowing you to savor each course without feeling rushed.

The prices are definitely on the higher side, but you get what you pay for with the quality of the food and service. This is a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or indulge in a luxurious night out.

Overall, if you are looking for a fine dining experience, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The attention to detail, exceptional cuisine, and impeccable service make for a memorable dining experience.

Visit 7: (6 visits in the last 1 year)

I recently (08 May) dined at this restaurant, and I have to say I was extremely disappointed with the experience.

The food, which was supposedly crafted from the finest ingredients, was nothing special. The presentation was ok, and the flavours were lacklustre (no salt in pasta, too much salt in Yam- this is the experience across the last one year). The portions were small, and the prices were exorbitant. I left the restaurant feeling hungry and unsatisfied.

The pacing of the meal was also poorly timed, with long delays between courses. The atmosphere was sterile and uninviting, with little effort made to create a warm and welcoming environment. Overall, the restaurant seemed to be more focused on appearances than providing a memorable dining experience.

The subpar food, lacklustre service, and high prices make it a poor value for the money. Save your money and find a restaurant that truly deserves the label of fine dining.

What started off as a great journey from the makers of Annapoorna went off track and lacks consistency. Hopefully they course correct and get back on track. This place has so much potential. Hope they...

It was a sudden plan to dine-in in kove and this was our 3rd time in past 3 months since we relocated from bengaluru. We have been in states plus it's a veg restaurant with multi cuisine options, kove made a great first impression. However, it was not a pleasant experience this time. Martin was our wait staff. Harish was also co staffing our table whenever Martin failed to show up. I felt Martin was kind of judgemental may be cos of our attire. I ordered a white sause pasta for my 6 yr old. He did not ask for specific type of pasta like spaghetti or penne(prefered penne). Harish brought us white sauce spaghetti which was also good. He did take time in serving us, I appreciate it. We politely eaten it though my son was in slight disappointment that it was not penne pasta. Taste compensated the disappointment and he enjoyed it. Mardi gras I ordered last time was too good with rose petals in it but this time it was good without petals in it. Next I asked for a three cheese ravioli which looked very delightful but the first bite I took, it was too tasty with a stale olive oil smell. I double checked with my husband, he also felt it's too salty to eat. We asked Martin to replace the item. He took the food and brought it back again to the table telling it's how it is. We had to tell him it was not edible. Most restaurants use frozen items and may be this was stale for a long time? I don know. But it was the most unpleasant ravioli I have ever had. The manager also cameby and validated how good the restaurant is and no one complaints like this. I liked all the other food I ordered except for the ravioli. Well issue is " not giving a pleasant experience for afine dining restaurant which charges approx 2K per person. Pls don't be judgemental with any of your customers by the way they dress up or the way they sit legs up comfortably. Martin did not serve us food, just kept them on table. He did not check to refill the water. I had my son's water and did not ask for more. On the other hand Harish was pleasant and refilled water multiple times. I did not tip Martin but I did tip Harish. Try to give us pleasant experience. That all we need. Be it kove which is fine dining or annapoorna. Just cuz you have customers all the time, that doesn't give you liberty to be rude or judgemental towards them. Sorry for the long boring post. Every customer deserves same...
