Finding Olive Greenz Multicuisine Restaurant in T Nagar was a major hassle—the restaurant is hidden inside a complex and several small streets, plus there’s no clear signage, making it extremely hard to locate. Navigating the one-way roads was also difficult, especially if you arrive by car, as there is no prominent board and reversing is tough in the area. I strongly recommend the management install better signboards to help visitors.
Once inside (the restaurant is on the first floor), we were told we needed a table reservation, even though this was not mentioned anywhere online or on-site. We could only sit at a table if we agreed to vacate if the prior reservation showed up, which made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The team should better communicate their reservation policy to avoid confusion.
The biggest issue was with the menu and service. The menu book did not list all available items—many people were ordering meals not found on the menu, and when we asked, it turned out there were quite a few dishes (like meals) being served off-menu. This left us frustrated, as we would have ordered differently if we’d known. It’s disappointing that the menu is not updated or comprehensive.
Service was extremely slow and uncoordinated. Despite ordering simple dishes—three fried rice and a Korean fried chicken—we waited over 45 minutes while others who arrived later were served sooner and left before us. We had to keep checking the status of our order, and only got vague responses like “two more minutes” repeatedly. Staff appeared overwhelmed, covering too many tables each, which delayed everything, including our drinks order. Eventually, we had to cancel the drinks after waiting 20 minutes because we had to leave.
In summary, our experience was very poor: inconvenient location, unclear policies, misleading menu, and some of the slowest service I’ve ever encountered in Chennai. The ambience might look premium from outside, but the execution is lacking in every way. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone based...

Read moreWe visited Olive Greenz Multicuisine to celebrate my mother’s birthday, a special evening that unfortunately turned into one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve ever had.
Despite booking our table for 9:15 PM and arriving by 9:30, we were made to wait 45 minutes for a table while multiple tables were visibly empty. Even after politely requesting a change, we were ignored completely. There was zero hospitality or basic courtesy extended to check if we were comfortable or being served properly.
We were a group of 7 people and placed a large order of over 10 dishes. The waiter’s reaction was incredibly rude and unprofessional he warned us not to cancel later, implying that our order was a problem. That comment was completely unnecessary and disrespectful.
The food, unfortunately, was below average and not worth the price or hype. When we gave honest feedback about a dish that didn’t taste good, it was met with sarcasm and an unpleasant attitude instead of any willingness to help.
I’ve never left a negative review before, but I feel compelled to write this so that others aren’t misled by the polished ratings. If you’re planning a special occasion or expecting even basic customer service, I’d strongly suggest...
