An authentic South Indian family restaurant located in the heart of the T. Nagar market. Though there was a short wait in the queue, the pleasant ambiance and super-fast service made it worthwhile.

What I tried: • Lassi – ₹100 • Curd Vadai – ₹100 (1/5) • Podi Idly Fry – ₹138 (5/5) • Masala Dosai – ₹114 • Butter Roast Dosai – ₹142 • Chilli Cheese Dosai – ₹161

The Lassi was refreshing, but the Curd Vadai was quite bland and lacked flavor. However, the Podi Idly Fry was outstanding — spicy fried idlis tossed with vegetables, a unique and flavorful dish that’s clearly their specialty.

Among the dosas, the Chilli Cheese stood out as the best. While the dosas weren’t very crispy, they were well-prepared, served on banana leaves, and paired with mildly flavored chutneys that complemented them nicely.

I was particularly impressed yesterday night by Mr. Prakash, who served us in the AC section. He was courteous, attentive, and carried a pleasant smile throughout — which really enhanced our dining experience.

Suggestion for Improvement

While I completely understand that the waiting time is long due to the large crowd, I would suggest improving the waiting lounge near the AC section. It gets quite warm and uncomfortable even in the evenings, as the fans are not sufficient for the number of people waiting. Adding air conditioning or better ventilation there would make the experience much more comfortable for customers waiting...
