The High Joint Adyar — Restaurant in Zone 13 Adyar

THIS PLACE IS TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT This a total disaster. I went to celebrate my birthday with my friends but ambience and stuff totally ruined my day, not only because of ambience i order several dishes which is not fresh it a frozen food i was excited because HIGH JOINT using a inhouse sauce for their dishes. It is not a inhouse sauce it is a Schezwan chutney, I ordered siracha wings which is tossed in Schezwan chutney. I dont know only this outlet is not good because of franchise and stuff but it is not recommended and waste of money. Because dishes are bit high price but quality sucks . Can u imagine a wings which is cold outside and but hot inside because it is not proper cooked. The outlet hardly has 2 employees one is for billing and one is for cooking soo highly not recommended to visit this place . Instead eat Sambar and Appalam from your home itself.they are not even providing cutlery and plates, even i asked for plate one the employee said "no issues if your food spills on table and we dont mind cleaning " is that mean that i should keep my food on the table instead of using plates? (my stomuch is bloated and going through stomach upset).OUT OF 0-10 I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE 1 FOR THIS RESTAURANT.

Quite the expensive feast when it comes to high joint but definitely worth the price. We got 3 different burgers to try them all out with a side of loaded fries and chicken tenders. I’m assuming the sauce with the tenders were ranch ( not sure !!! ) and they worked perfectly together to calm down the spice but also make it a bit tangier. The loaded fries were pretty good as well. Now coming to the burgers, the two others we ordered were good though I don’t remember the name very well. I believe one of them was the fly high chicken and there was nothing to complain with it. I tried the flame thrower after being challenged by a friend to see if I can take spicy food. My best advice, unless you are someone who can really handle your spice, don’t touch this :). I was happily crying while trying to get through that monstrosity of a spicy burger but I did manage to do it :D .

One issue is that their dessert options aren’t much. It is very limited and even after struggling through the spice, I preferred drinking water than buying anything from their menu. Hopefully they add more dessert options making the meal a...

Overall impression: surprisingly a lot of the patties and the starters are maade in house, which is pretty cool. Would visit this place again purely becauseof this; but not even close to "best" burger; sweet burger buns arent my thing. Otherwise, the food wasn't too salty or sweet, which I appreciate. Staff snd service, polite and actually very sweet. Typical crowd: college students. For this crowd, apt. Tried the following.

Loaded fries: house fries, which was pretty good for a small place. Doused in to much ranch and sauce. Otherwise decent. Corn cheese nuggets: fresh made, actually was expecting the frozen storebought corn nuggets. So, pleasantly surprised. Would recommend. OG chicken burger: egg and mashed chicken patty, would recommend. High chicken burger: fried chicken patty, just for that, would recommend. Korean veg burger: has the sweet Korean BBQ sauce, too sweet.
